As proposed by Lotti in the other thread, when you do think we'll get the first single from the new era?

There have been no confirmations or even rumours of new music yet, but she has been in the studio recently making new music and recording the album. Small signs and hints are starting to surface so let's PREDICT.

I've gone for August-September (with album and second single coming close to Christmas) and I'd be happy with that because I want a Summer release too. Love when songs define an entire summer so can it be Gaga this year please?

I'd say August/September ready for an album release in maybe November (basically a repeat of ARTPOP).

But of course it's a pop emergency that I need right now!!!1!!!

She needs to go back to her Fame roots and release either in Q4 like Bad Romance with a gothic Halloween vid and X Factor performance orrr in January like Just Dance.

I was thinking August but I had the weirdest dream the other night and it involved Gaga dropped her new single in June so I've gone for that

It will prob be August but she needs to avoid Katy Perry as she is too famous now for her to compete and come back with a gothic angel bang in winter.

Most seem to be in agreement with an August-September release, I wonder if that will be when it drops. Either way CAN'T WAIT.

There's no way I want anything remotely similar to the ARTPOP release. An August release for the lead single feels too late for what will probably sound like a "summer smash" and Gaga needs to play it safe and not release November/December to avoid being lost in the Christmas market. I'd prefer an OA/OS release in June (and something half decent, not messily put together like 'Applause'), a second single in September followed closely by the album, then a third single ready to make its mark in the New Year and so on.

As for when I want it, obviously I'm hyped for new Gaga music and all news/spoilers/rumours are suggesting this whole thing will be a really good record, but I'd say June time also, given Beyonce's just dropped her album.

Yeah that's what I think too. A 'Bad Romance' style release then with full X Factor performance? (Will she even get a slot on XF with Sharon on the panel? :/)

Sure. Jamiroquai performed on The X Factor despite previously slagging off Dannii and Cheryl. Simon loves controversy.

I wouldn't necessarily read too much into the reports of GaGa's album not coming until next year. I remember in 2013, there were reports of Beyonce's album not being anywhere near completion - only for her to drop it in December with videos for every song. The reports might just be a way of creating a shock for when GaGa releases... and I get the feeling it'll be next month.
