Welcome to the first of our Summer Events here in Eurovision land! It's been two months since Duncan Laurence took the trophy back to The Netherlands and it's time to reflect on the decade that was. We'll be running a special edition of Buzzvision over the next few months to determine Buzzjack's favourite Eurovision song of the 2010s!
First up are the nomination rounds, we'll be doing 2 years at a time to help speed things along slightly. All you have to do is vote for your top 10 of each year using the traditional 12/10/8 etc. points system. As a special twist, instead of the actual winners auto qualifying for the next round, we have decided to grant the winners of the past 10 Buzzvision's this honour instead, so please do not vote for these specified entries.
Voting for this round is open until next Sunday morning at 11:59 am BST with the results being announced later that day. Please PM your votes to me (AdamAloud) but feel free to use this thread to discuss & reminisce on these 2 contests, or indeed campaign for your favourite entries. Start voting NOW!

Everytime I watch a recap from the 2011 contest, I discover songs I have NO recelaction of. I have no memory of Croatia, and Slovenia I only remember because I had no memory of it last time I watched a recap

How can anyone forget "Celebrate" - Daria literally invented the costume change with her performance!
Without watching the recap, Cyprus and Macedonia are two I can't recall anything about.

Yaknow I did always have a soft spot for 2011 as that year kinda coincided with the beginnings of my Eurostanning but now eight years after the fact...it really isn’t very good.

I have said this since like forever. There's a lot of weak pop songs that just haven't aged well, joke or unusual entries that have aged even worse and it stands out so badly compared to every year around it.

don’t blame me I voted for Kristina... and OPA. But more pressing is Tyolki Ellaa missing out
What I want to know is who had the GALL to let that simpering bore of Me And My Guitar beat sublimity itself in Narodnozabavni, and over in 2011 enough people voted for that inexcusable mess of Get You to have it draw with the best song of 2011.
And What About My Dreams qualified? Terrible.

'Lako Je Sve' missing out on a tie hurt the most, my douze points of 2010 and a severely underrated Balkan ballad.
I was most surprised at Maja Keuc missing out and by quite a distance, always had her down as a Buzzfave.

Ireland seemingly would have qualified, going past the 26 point threshold needed to qualify all the way to 30. Belarus (16>15) and N. Macedonia (=) would have moved little or not at all.
