Out 03.11.2017!
Full on bop, doing well on iTunes atm!
Lets hope the song title is not an omen as to how this single will do compared to her last.
Excited for the Mr Eazi feature!
Feat. Mr Eazi Can’t wait for this.
‘The Line’ was such a disappointment, I had high hopes for her. Hopefully this’ll make up for it.
Its been added to the Capital playlist already according to the website, that sounds like a good indication it could be hit.
Great to see Mr Eazi getting more exposure (he's on the new Yungen single too), probably going for that Afro-swing sound.
This samples the classic 'Always on Time'... I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Omg a huge bop!
No idea this would sample Ja Rule/Ashanti. Amazing.
Relies so heavily on the sample but I’m so down for that because it’s such a classic.
Absolutely LOVE this, hope it’s huge.
Love this!
On first full listen, this is very strong and has a real chance of doing well! Maybe the same level of success as Mabel and Stefflon Don recently (although I imagine if it peaks that high it'll peak in January).
The sample really isn't working for me. The opinions on this seem very polarizing but to me it sounds very lazy.
I can't decide if I really like it, or like Joe said, just find it very lazy.
I think it is a clever move on her part though, it sounds like it could become a hit potentially. Moreso than 'The Line'.
The Line is WAY better for me, I have the same reservations about the sample, it does feel a bit lazy like "oh this works as a song already so we'll just do that" although I agree it's likely to be a hit moreso than The Line. It'll probably be like a low top 20 that does better on Spotify than iTunes
Really liking this, waaaaay more instant than The Line which I never totally got into!
A SONG.
This isn't doing anything for me either, can they just push Shhh instead cos she's clearly never gonna top that...
Up to 78 on iTunes, doing really well!
I want to like this but it's just really weak :/
Up to 67 on iTunes now! Climbing very fast with no support.
Not as strong as The Line but this sounds more commercial.
this could be her Hurtin Me then? sounds like it could take off and it's not doing badly on iTunes considering.
The Line only got to #50 with top placing on Hot Songs and 59p.
Soooo catchy!
An Ashanti sample and multiple references to Beyoncé really does feel like she's trying to chase the early 00s revival trend. It isn't as bad as it could've been but she completely drains the life out of the hook.
I did like "The Line" for a while so it's a shame that that never broke through. "You Don't Know Me" remains terrible.
it’s a mash together to stuff we all really know and continue to hear on a regular basis when going out...why listen to this poor mans version when you have the superior milian song, destiny’s child etc
this is an utterly baffling way to launch a new artist to me; imitate a still v popular early 2000s track in a very non-description fashion and then expect people to be drawn to you?! baffling
Peter Robinson wrote about this;
I like the song but I can't disagree with that.
I still think they should've launched her with a stormzy remix of shhhhhhhh
Disappointing after the fantastic 'The Line' for me
I think The Line was a perfect way to launch her career but it just never caught on for some reason.
So this is really taking off
Up to 54 on iTunes!
Is that really taking off though?!
What? She’s climbing fast.
For at artist like her without Hot Songs, I would say it’s taking off.
45 on iTunes rn and debuts at 82 officially!
I've heard this a lot on the radio! Can definitely seeing it being a decent running hit.
Soo close to top 40 on iTunes!!
Hopefully R1 get on board, it’s track of the week atm. Heard that it’s being played a lot on Capital and Kiss?
Peter Robinson is PopJustice... arguably pop’s biggest influencer
What a bop!!!
#37 on iTunes! Her first solo hit?
Added to Hot Hits UK!
Added to the R1 playlist!
Another day another post but
Top 50 on Spotify!!
ok this is actually quite a tune, been stuck in my head all day
#37 in today’s midweeks and will probably be top 35 by Friday!
#34 on the Official UK Chart!
I really dislike this. It's so uninspired and doesn't add anything to the original. I think it's going to be her only hit (if it does turn into a hit that is), "The Line" was so much better but as a popstar she is just so faceless.
She's performing it on SLFN next week so I imagine it'll reach its peak after that.
It’s already a hit..?
A hit requires longevity. One week in the top forty does not make.
Top 40 in only its forth week is pretty good going when she's hardly a big name. Everything's going pretty well for it right now so I'm sure longevity is on the way!
I imagine she will stay top 40 until 2018, when ACR will hit it.
woow, this is great, i gave my first listen this week and now i'm addicted.
This will go #1
It could go Top 20 or higher once all the xmas songs have vanished in the New Year
Ramz remix coming Friday!!!
They need to release the Wideboys remix of this too; it's a banger.
Ramz remix is ok, I prefer the original though - has more of a kick in it. I was hoping Ramz would just take over Mr Eazi's parts but it's actually made quite differently. I do love how RAYE sings the third verse though
Seems like #15 will be it’s peak. Not bad at all!
