I'm sure casual tennis watchers will be surprised to see Murray as low as 6th seed!
Nadal has the class, but will his injuries have an effect?? |

Congratulations to Heather Watson on winning her second WTA title with victory at the Hobert International.
She's now up to 38th in the world. If she keeps this is up I'm sure she will be seeded for the French Open possibly providing she doesn't get injured. |

Andy Murray comfortably through to the second round with a straight sets win over India's Yuki Bhambri.
Fifth seed Ana Ivanovic out in three sets. I was sure that she was gonna have a good run. Shame. Also Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer through to the second round. Ivanovic wasn't the only woman's seed to go out today with Kuznetsova, Lisicki, Safarova, Bencic, Suarez-Navarro and Pavlyuchenkova all out. 11th seed in the men's draw. Gulbis is out. |

Roger Federer out of the Australian Open by losing to Italy's Andreas Seppi.
It is the first time since 2003 that he hasn't reached the last four. Also Andy Murrray, Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova all comfortably through to the last 16. |

Venus Williams into her first Grand Slam quarter-final since 2010 with a win over Poland's Agnieska Radwanska in three sets. If she can get past Madison Keys and her sister Serena wins her quarter-final. It will be a all-Williams semi-final.

Murray through to the final after beating Berdych in 4 sets.
In the woman's final it will be Serena Williams v Maria Sharapova. Looking forward to that final. |

Surely another Williams mauling? Usually feel bad for her opponents especially in finals she just destroys them!
 Rooting for Murray though although I feel whoever he faces in the final might just have the edge. Would be a shame for him to lose in a 4th final. |

Incredible stat today from easily one of the world's greatest tennis player, Roger Federer who has reached his 126th ATP Tour final in Dubai where he will play Novak Djokovic.

Roger beat Novak. I'm thrilled! I don't want to tempt fate and I know it's been three years since his last slam title, but I think he's got one more in him this summer.

Definitely will be another lively contender for Wimbledon and the US Open. Probably not the French Open. I hope he has one more Grand Slam in him. Roger. He served his 9000th ace of his career during the match also against Novak.

They have also pledged that the coverage of Wimbledon will not move to pay-per-view TV and remain on the BBC. |

Laura Robson's injury woes continue as she'll miss the French Open as her 16-month injury lay off continues. She hasn't played since the 2014 Australian Open.
