ULTIMATE DANCE 2010s // 2014

The 5th Round: 2014

This last decade has been brilliant for dance music and now that it's well and truly over it's about time we went through it and decide which tunes are the best! Unlike regular Ultimate Dance which ran last year, only songs released in the 2010s will be eligible. As it is a decade-only edition the rounds will be split into years. We move on to 2014 which was the biggest year for dance music in the decade, with over 100 dance tracks making the chart (more than half of what we got last year), so perhaps an especially hard year to rank. It was also the year Clean Bandit broke through in a big way with 'Rather Be', one of the decade's top selling tracks in the UK.

As ever what constitutes as dance is a fine line so I may have made an error of judgement, if there's a track you think should or shouldn't be on here then let me know.

You may vote for up to 20 songs, made up of the year's UK top 100 hits that fit the dance genre. The top 5 will auto-qualify to the final and the remainder of the top 20 will go to the semi-finals.

If you haven't already, make sure to also vote in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013. These round are all still open.

2015 will open next week.
