Really gutted for Tulisa. It's a fabulous dance song and i'm sure it would have been huge with some support. A shame because that sort of dance was liked a lot last year so i'm not sure why this wasn't supported.

Tchami, Echosmith and Beyoncé confirmed as entries today - the other re-entry will likely be Vance Joy or James Bay then. Hoping for the latter, I do love 'Riptide' but it's more than had its time!

I always wondered how Pet Shop Boys had managed to get that song top ten in 2000! 16k sales explains it, the charts really were completely dead the two weeks after xmas in the 90s/early
00s.

Oh SHUSH sad.gif I was 18 then ha ha.

That Celine Dion track is actually decent (and a 7 week number 1 million seller in the coming weeks after Rednex).

I think the two main factors are the last thing she released was her album two years ago (which was quite a high profile flop), and also the way her reputation was dragged through the mud last year.

It's a shame, the two singles prior to this were SO dreadful and got top 20. Ah well.

Koala still top 40 wub.gif music.gif could even get a 6th week top 40 if its lucky considering how dead the new release schedule is and it's comfortably there on iTunes.
