COLOURFUL

I watched her live last night (she was surprisingly really good) and this was a BOP. There was another new song that sampled 'U Make Me Wanna' that sounded really good too!

She's actual very good life, has so much energy!

Yas, I'm glad it was a bop live! 'Wanna' actually has been getting performed for over 10 years and the Tinashe demo is out there!

Three questions.
1) Was it busy?
2) Did she do wow
3) what were the highlights

Wow and Lush Life were definitely highlights although Uncover was very sweet and wasn’t too busy.

Posted by: Jack 22nd May 2019, 04:56 PM

It was busy enough! It looked full at least.

Wow was second to last and she did a deathdrop which was definitely the highlight. Ain't My Fault and TG4M were personal highlightd, also I really didn't realise she could sing and dance as well as she can!

Posted by: Wall 27th May 2019, 09:30 AM

I'm guessing we could be getting this in the next two weeks, she's been performing this on her support dates for Ed Sheeran and even performed it on BBC Radio 1 Weekend. I'm glad 'Don't Worry Bout Me' managed to go top 40, although frustrated that it's been removed from Radio 1 when it's getting new peaks on Spotify.

Judging by Zara’s tweet, label issues part 100

Posted by: Jack 8th June 2019, 05:10 PM

I feel so bad for her, she had such an opportunity to have a fairly big second era imo sad.gif.

Posted by: JosephAvery 14th June 2019, 11:11 PM

Posted by: Wall 15th June 2019, 12:56 AM

It’s a smart decision as BTS fans might download the single! Her song with BTS is worldwide #1, it would be nice if it went top 40 in UK

Posted by: Jack 17th June 2019, 09:39 PM

She seems to be posting on social media about this coming out on Friday!! Exciting.

I'm really worried to see if she can get another hit as 'Don't Worry Bout Me' kinda flopped sad.gif.

It just seems like there's some sort of major conflict with her label, hence why her management gets her all these random collabs that doesn't really seem that focused to me.

It wouldn't surprise me if All The Time completely bombed. It seems like either Zara will need to agree to release the album that her label wants her to release, or go the way of Robyn did with My Truth and Don't Stop The Music and release it Scandinavia only and eventually move away from her label.

I can see this album being released quickly mainly so Zara can get out of her contract with Epic. I don’t know how this will do, I don’t think it’s strong enough to be a worldwide smash but Radio 1 end Capital will instantly support, I just hope her label support her and give her promo and Spotify which I doubt.

The artwork is amazing though! The video is also coming on Friday.

Posted by: Wall 18th June 2019, 03:56 AM

She released So Good with the success of Lush Life, Never Forget You, I would like, ain't my fault and Symphony. Nobody really knows about Don’t Worry Bout Me.

Basically, it sounds like a bomb of a single. It might be successful in Sweden and Scandipop will cry about how it should've been successful worldwide. What a flop!

On the other hand, if she and her label decided to properly push something as a single, no matter what genre it is (but Zara doing death metal appeals to me), might be a hit. Everything about this "era" stinks that her label just doesn't wanna.

Posted by: Wall 19th June 2019, 12:31 PM

EPIC are tweeting about this too, looking likely that they are finally going to support a release!

The team who wrote 'Let Me Love You' by Rita Ora are the team behind this also.

Scandipop saying this was like Greedy meets Into You was REALLY overselling it, but it's a cute little bop I guess.

I feel like this is true! She has real popstar potential and certainly has the star power, and it's frustrating because the majority material she puts out kind of shows her as having no identity and even makes her seem basic. sad.gif

First listen..

I love this.

YTF is this era not doing anything for her! She's in the exact lane I feel like she should be in and be huge with! Ffs. Everything from this era has been 10/10 for me.

Banger after banger.

Posted by: RobBob 25th June 2019, 11:59 PM

She hasn't been handled greatly, past Ruin My Life. Don't Worry About Me could've been bigger than it was but they fluffed that up, WOW didn't really get any push and they've let the hype get sucked away, so now she needs a big hit to make up for the ground she's lost - that's why she's not as big as she could be.

I'm not convinced this is quite the big hit she needs, it feels very Want To Want Me/Black Magic kind of 80s reminiscent in sound which isn't really "very now" but as I've said, a really solid pop song for me.

Posted by: Wall 26th June 2019, 10:40 AM

It seems to be having a little bit of life in the United States surprisingly and it if picks up there it could do well worldwide especially with it not being added to TTTH. 'All The Time' was the third most added song on Pop radio this week with 33 adds which is quite impressive considering there's no radio deal and she doesn't have a solo hit in the US. It's also picking up on US iTunes (Currently #144) and finally in Apple Music at #888 there.

Radio Adds

Top 40
124 SHAWN MENDES & CAMILA CABELLO Senorita Epic-Republic Stations
54 TAYLOR SWIFT You Need To Calm Down Republic Stations
33 ZARA LARSSON All The Time Ten/Epic Stations
25 AVICII SOS f/Aloe Blacc Avicii/Geffen/Interscope Stations
19 AVA MAX So Am I Atlantic Stations
19 MILEY CYRUS Mother's Daughter RCA Stations
17 LEWIS CAPALDI Someone You Loved Vertigo/Capitol Stations
16 HERVE PAGEZ & DIPLO Spicy f/Charli XCX Mad Decent Stations
16 MARK RONSON Find U Again f/Camila Cabello RCA Stations
14 CYN Holy Roller Unsub Records/Caroline Stations
12 DJ KHALED Just Us f/SZA We The Best/Epic Stations
12 MAX Love Me Less f/Quinn XCII Arista-RED Stations
11 MARSHMELLO & KANE BROWN One Thing Right RCA Nashville Stations
11 TOVE LO Glad He's Gone Island/Republic Stations

I do think she needs a new team / management though as like previously stated 'Don't Worry About Me' was handled horribly, it could have been a cute top 20 hit in the UK especially as when it was rising on iTunes and Spotify, there was nothing there to attempt to push it and then it was quickly removed from every playlist and put back up to 99p.

I wouldn't mind a couple of guest features, I do admire that she doesn't seem to like releasing her music with features either but I wouldn't mind her next single having a guest feature on it in order to boost her profile and in order to get her a hit and again as Rob stated 'All The Time' is a bop but it's not a worldwide hit.

Posted by: Wall 26th June 2019, 02:00 PM

Posted by: danG 27th June 2019, 09:43 AM

C'mon Zara get that top 125 smash hit!!!

Pleased that it seems to be recovering well from Hot Hits exposure anyhow, I suspect it will eventually peak around the 50s to 60s like DWBM but that would be great after its disastrous start.

Enjoying the song quite a bit too, a fun pop bop.

Posted by: Wall 27th June 2019, 01:20 PM

Once TTH puts it on their playlist, I can legit see it smashing and I’m sure they will because it’s performing better than Ruin My Life was at this point in America on iTunes and AirPlay. It’s #96 on USA iTunes.

What went wrong for her sad.gif

Posted by: Wall 2nd July 2019, 04:14 AM

I think it’s mainly due to having a bad relationship with her label. The issues is obvious but at the same time she’s so stubborn and goes against her label and that’s not why she’s not getting much promo or high playlists. I don’t think her label wanted All The Time as a single judging by her tweets last month.

It’s such a shame as she should be working with incredible producers and writers, she’s capable of producing incredible music and Ruin My Life, Don’t Worry Bout Me, All The Time is such a massive step down from the previous campaign of Nevee a Forget You, Lush Life And Ain’t My Fault.

I mean her promo single at the time i would like went straight in at iTunes at #11, ‘All The Time’ despite having a video couldn’t manage top 40.

Posted by: Wall 2nd July 2019, 04:20 AM

It’s also been moved towards the bottom of HHUK. I wonder if this is going to be cancelled?

Posted by: dannjohn 2nd July 2019, 04:01 PM

Her label have been sabotaging her since so good was decided as a single over i would like

Posted by: Wall 2nd July 2019, 04:17 PM

Imagine if TG4M was a single, the campaign would have been huge. I mean it’s got over 100 million streams and that’s without being a single.

Posted by: Wall 2nd July 2019, 04:20 PM

I’m actually disappointed to see how much this is bombing worldwide. It debuted at #19 in Sweden which is her lowest single since ‘Weak Heart’.

It’s on Radio1, Capital, Kiss playlist and it’s #171 on iTunes and #151 on Spotify. It really needs to be pushed by her label ASAP.

Why do you bother posting in here? Everything is just incredibly negative on what you say. There’s no discussion from yourself just points on how she’s underperforming or how she’s constantly flopping? This campaign hasn’t been the strongest but ‘Ruin My Life’ did well, ‘Don’t Worry Bout Me’ underperformed but again that’s because her label didn’t support the single so it was on limited playlists and got no live promo because the label didn’t want to invest. Zara has again fell out with her label over ‘All The Time’ and it’s clear to see via promo and playlists that the label aren’t confident in it despite it receiving critical acclaim almost everywhere.

She’s not really a flop either, she has five, one million selling singles alone in the UK in a short amount of time, don’t Worry Bout Zara. I’m prepared for this campaign to flop if it means she gets a new label following this and I’m positive she will. biggrin.gif

I actually love Zara, but she has flopped since Ruin My Career

Posted by: jtkoon 2nd July 2019, 08:37 PM

I don’t think hope is quite gone yet! I agree that it’s definitely problems with her label but still think All The Time could be a hit. I think don’t worry about me and wow killed a lot of her momentum, especially on spotify as she is still not placed well on any playlist. My friends all think this is better then don’t worry about and up there with ruin my life (which we all love). it seemed to be gaining traction of US itunes when first released which means people are liking it. it also just entered the top 50 on US radio in less then 2 weeks which is crazy for her. If it’s just gets some playlist support it could still be salvaged. after this she better just release the album and find a new label because they suck. I also think the video is a cool idea but clearly was given no budget :/

She’s released one single since ‘Ruin My Life’? It actually went top 20 on iTunes without promotion and very low Spotify placing.

QUOTE(jtkoon @ Jul 2 2019, 09:37 PM) *

I love the video, my favourite video since ‘Symphony’ for her. I would have loved it more if they showed more of the theme park etc. It’s good that it’s already top 50 on USA Pop Radio, but her label really need to take advantage of radio playing her, remember ruin my life was doing well on radio but got no promo which stopped it from being a hit.

I can see the album being delayed but it will be released as Zara will want her contract with Epic to end.

isn't she on a tom walker track atm...

i reckon next on the list will be another dance feature.

Posted by: Wall 3rd July 2019, 03:40 PM

Tbf, ‘All The Time’ is already #48 on USA Pop Radio, once her label starts paying out, I’m hoping it can be a reasonable sized hit!

I do think she will be on a couple of collaborations, I can see her managing a couple of big ones still.

Posted by: Frenchie 3rd July 2019, 03:57 PM

Yeah I think she has to do some more collaborations to get her name out there again and get on the radio more. I reckon a track with Sigala or Jax Jones would be good as they're quite consistent.

It just seems so bizarre that she had 5 top 5 hits in her last era and now she is struggling to go top 40.

Posted by: Wall 3rd July 2019, 06:18 PM

Officially added to B List at Radio 2 *.*

I did expect that but that’s her now on every major playlist minus Heart.

Posted by: Jαsє 3rd July 2019, 09:45 PM

Yeah if this is a total writeoff then she needs to hop on some big dance tunes. SO here for a Sigala/Zara track at some point!

Posted by: Bré 3rd July 2019, 10:15 PM

Am I the only one who's thinking this song is ruined a bit by the constant background vocals? I don't mind the repetition at all (hell I'd probably like this song more if it was only the background vocals and the instrumental lol, it's very reminiscent of Daft Punk's 'Doin' It Right' which I love) but it's sooooo distracting from the actual main part of the song oops. It's a pretty decent song but it'd be so much better if the background vocals were only in the chorus or something.

(then again I think everyone said this about 'the light is coming' and I didn't mind that at all and really liked that so maybe I'm just being contrarian xxx)

Posted by: Wall 4th July 2019, 03:00 AM

I felt that at first too, I love it now though.

It’s still not been added to TTH but I think her label are waiting for it to take off on USA airplay a bit more (Ruin My Life had long peaked by the time it was performing well on radio) which is going to be dangerous for her UK peak tbh.

Posted by: Juliano 4th July 2019, 09:25 AM

Hopefully the fact that this sounds amazing in the sun helps her out a bit!

I’m prepared for this campaign to flop if it means she gets a new label following this and I’m positive she will. biggrin.gif
Me to you in Little Mix forum teas.

such a shame this is flopping hard though, it’s easily better than ruin my life.

Posted by: Juliano 9th July 2019, 01:33 PM

The fact that this song is not taking off, bothers me.

Posted by: Wall 9th July 2019, 05:11 PM

I’m struggling to see how she’s going to rebound and make this a hit. It’s obvious her label aren’t wanting to invest any money in her at the moment otherwise she would be promoting the single.

I’m not sure what’s happening with Spotify, I think they could be waiting for it to take off in America before it’s added to playlists but she should be focusing more on getting Europe back on her side but again it’s on Radio 1 / 2 B List and it’s struggling on iTunes #92, Spotify #157 and Apple Music #99.

It’s also bombed in Sweden and it’s current peak is #19 while she’s falling on Spotify and Apple Music there, she really needs to rush release this album so she can get a new label. She has the star quality she just needs to be handled better, I would say better material too but ‘All The Time’ is that bop.

Her label are normally good with promotion so I’m actually incredibly surprised to see them not promoting ‘All The Time”. It needs a couple of live performances so it can go higher on iTunes. The higher it is on iTunes, hopefully Spotify will notice it more but I don’t think it will go top 40 now, I mean she’s on Kiss, Radio 1 and Radio 2 Playlists and she’s not been able to go near the top 50 on iTunes, it’s weird because it’s a song that you can see catching on easily with people.

In all honesty I can’t see the album happening but she’s already said she will leak it laugh.gif. It’s her final album with epic so hopefully she goes to a better label which shouldn’t be difficult.

I'm guessing there'll be six month break at the very least and she'll release her next single in early 2020 at best. They'll probably forget about Ruin My Life, Don't Worry About Me and All The Time and pretend they were stand alone singles.

Posted by: Wall 2nd August 2019, 06:45 PM

By the sounds of her q&a on youtube, she shaded epic a lot and basically said she wants it out as soon as possible but she’s hoping for a September release but you can tell by her tone of voice she was like yup they’re gonna push it back.

I can see them focusing on the US with this, it’s top 30 on Pop Airplay and only increasing and it seems to have stalled everywhere! Watch this get added to TTH once it’s somehow more dead and buried in the UK if her label bother *.*

I wouldn't compare her to Rita or Louisa and etc. Because unlike those Zara has a market that wants her album - not a huge one, granted, but still a market.

She could push for her album to be released in Scandinavia as I said. She's not without options or a complete flop in every market.

Posted by: Mixxer 5th August 2019, 04:43 PM

But her album did great on Spotify she has multiple album tracks with over 100M streams so she clearly isn't just a singles artists. That counts for something in the streaming era, so I doubt they would never let her release the album.

This is by far the best thing Zara has ever done. It never gets old. I can't believe it wasn't a hit. I think it was released before its time. If it was released this year post Blinding Lights it would have done better.

Still watch this on a weekly basis.

Gutted we didn't get a Gröna Lund performance.

Please at least put it on the Digital Deluxe Zara!!

This song has really quite grown on me since its release! I have a bit of newfound appreciation for it.

All The Time honestly deserved so much better

Passed 80m streams on Spotify, considering it’s charting and poor playlisting it’s actually been a cute spotify hit

Should have been on the album...

TALK ABOUT IT.

Still in her best three singles

If it took out WOW, the album would have even more acclaim cheeseblock.png

'WOW' is nothing but a horrendous stain on her discography, as it would be for anyone.

I'm completely baffled why she included it, it's not like it did anything anywhere.

THIS. NEEDS. TO. BE. RE-RELEASED.

"I'd rather have new songs on the album" (than 'All The Time' and 'Don't Worry Bout Me)

*includes 'Ruin My Life' and 'Wow'*

Riiiiiight...

Ruin My Career should be wiped out in favour of All The Time tbh.
