It's so cool seeing their songs top 5 on iTunes in the US, I can't wait for the album to be released, fingers crossed it does well, it already looks like it's on track to do pretty well and fingers crossed the Demi tour gets them so new fans.

WOW, that's amazing @ Stand Down getting top 5 on US iTunes - amazing considering they haven't had a successful selling single over there, yet their instant grats seem to get bigger with each one.

#5 is really good, the album must be doing pretty good so far. I like that they have done so many instant grats and they are high up the chart as I think they're a unknown name to many Americans still and seeing their name in the top 5 in the singles chart on iTunes even if for a small amount of time will be gaining them attention. Saying that, it seems pretty much the full album is going to be an instant grat at some point. I wonder if the songs left over may be single choices.

Outside of it's premiere I dont think it's had any other airplay really. But tbf, all their songs seem to get radio premieres and then nothing for a few weeks after. Radio 1 will almost definitely support it I believe. but yeah, like you said, plenty if time!

I'm surprised it's still there tbh. No radio play whatsoever at the moment (Radio 1 WILL playlist it, at least). The video hasn't premiered yet and all promotion will be the week of (and around) Sport Relief, obviously. So to spend a month nearly (or just over, can't remember) on just the radio premiere and a couple of low key spins/fanbase buys and hype, is good imo. I do hope it's not just Radio 1 that support it though. Hopefully Capital will be on board too.

(P.s. I'm not saying your prediction won't be true (because I think you're about right, tbh - maybe more 7-8 weeks top 40, but meh) but it's a bit early to know what it's going to do).

GUTTING. I really thought it'd hold up much better than it had done, up until the Friday that Sport Relief aired I thought it'd hang around for about 5 weeks top 40 at the least. But then I realised they didn't really care too much about this campaign, so why should we? I love their version of the song though.

Hopefully Salute will return soon and the promotion around the campaign boost their previous singles and albums. Kinda scared at how Salute will do, it must have quite a solid starting point with sales so far, but would love to see it go top 10 like it deserves and to become their best selling post album single.

I think it definitely has the potential to if they give it a good push. I see no reason why Radio 1 would abandon them, but I'd like to see the video out pretty soon. They've been leaving the videos too late, with both Move and Word Up, so they didn't get a decent enough time to maximise airplay.

Salute does sound like more of a hit to my ears, than Little Me though. I am slightly worried too though, but that may be because of how much I love the track and really want it to succeed.

People were say it's been reduced for awhile so it's a bit strange, maybe it's only really appearing in the 'albums under £4.99' or whatever it's called section on iTunes and the promo of it being reduced has given it a bit rise. It was literally about to fall out of the official top 100 album chart so it couldn't have been better timing. It'll potentially take some sales away from Salute, but the main goal is to sell the album so it's all good. Fingers crossed with the price cut and Salute promo starting soon it can keep rising.

I wish the EP would rise a little, I'm so happy with how the album versions are doing, but it would be nice for them to get a good peak position come release week too. There's plenty of time yet of course, but I'm a bit of a worrier lol.

Obviously they still need decent airplay and promo to make it a hit, beyond first day sales, so i wouldn't get too excited - but it's rather impressive to see their pre-order up to #28. They're proving that despite quite a big gap between campaigns, they've still got a very solid fanbase.

Someone over on DS mentioned it being the biggest pre-order of the year, which actually does seem to be the case. 'Love Me Like You Do' also climbed to the 20s right before release, but BM has spent far longer in the top 100.

It's a massive shame that they're leaving the United States after this week.

I fully believe if they stuck around the US and done a minor radio tour as well as promoting on TV shows 'Black Magic' could have been a top 20 Billboard hit, I'm sure it will still manage to go top 30 as POP seem to be picking this up very quickly.

I feel like I'm being a Debbie Downer, but I feel like their team has been ridiculous with this second single and are releasing it way to early and handling it all wrong. I'm interested to see how it plays out, I don't understand the mountain they've put in front of it, hopefully the song is strong enough to still do well despite the mountain that's been put in the way. They really should have let Black Magic run it's course a bit longer.

LMLY's longevity is insane. That's about 3 months within, or just outside, the top 20. BM still as high as #51 is impressive too! SLS also looks set to be huge.

It's a shame streaming is hampering all 3, but regardless, this era has been amazing for them.

streaming for LMLY is a bit better at the moment, it's higher than it looks on spotify because spotify isn't combining the christmas mix while OCC are. It went up from 37 to 33 in streams on Friday and will probably be higher this week.

Loads of longevity for that track!

It's doing fantastically. I really wasn't sure this would take off, even with the remix, but comfortably top 10 without the Prince songs is brilliant (and without much airplay). Encouraging to see it in top 100 on Spotify too. By comparison, how did SLS fair at first in terms of streaming? Did it enter the top 100 as quick as that? I do remember it climbed quite fast and then stalled at 11.

I really do think it's very likely they'll get a special around Christmas this year. That'll send loads of their music up the chart. They should do the four Get Weird singles, 2 from the new album, and Salute, Move and Wings. Girls Aloud did one back in the day and got 9 songs with some sketches.
