Rob and Gaz are over in Germany to promote 'Shame' laugh.gif Odd I know at this late stage but it is from 'Popstars'. Here is the performance. They seem to be having a good laugh - Rob is always a million times more relaxed outside the UK without all the pressure happy.gif

To be honest ... if you forget the godawful lyrics ... the tune isn't too bad. In fact ... I'm a'shame'd to say that I like it more than The Flood.

No I still hate 'Shame' - any song that wouldn't sound out of place on a Cliff Richard or Daniel O'Donnell album is a serious mistake if you ask me laugh.gif

From the naff lyrics, to the Blackbird rip off, to the overall jumper wearing grandad style melody - I still can't stand it. I would have been fine for Rob and Gaz to release in 40 years time laugh.gif

The Flood is vastly superior in every possible way for me - even thought I am sick of hearing it on the radio and seeing it live everywhere I look. laugh.gif

I still think 'Heart & I' is the finest work Rob and Gary has written together or in a collaboration with Mark - I love SOS, Kidz and Underground Machine but I think as a overall track - talking everything into account - Heart and I is the best. It's a bloody good tune and should have been a single instead of Shame - or at least a double A-side - may have got to #1 then laugh.gif

Oh I don't know ... it doesn't sound quite so offensive to me now. Whereas The Flood ... I wish it would bloody sink!!!!! At least Shame is tongue in cheek ... The Flood is just bloody pretentious. And honestly ... I've tried to like it ... but the lyrics just totally put me off. Thank heavens that it is the weakest song on the album.
