Some days ago, Luke Steele from Empire of the Sun was interviewed by Spin and he said that their third album will be released sometime in September of this year.

"The third record, we've been working on for about two years. The timing is, like, immaculate. We're going to the studio next week to have a big band listening session... it's pretty exciting. I think now that this has happened, it's going to be probably, definitely September. The company's gonna be like... 'Guitars down, headphones off.'"

Also, he mentioned the following regarding the belated success of "Walking On a Dream" in the US because of the 2016 Honda Civic ad dubbed as The Dreamer, which you could watch here.

They should re-add "Walking On A Dream" on this one like how Easton Corbin added "Are You With Me" again after the Lost Frequencies version became popular tongue.gif

Yeah! I guess they could include "Walking On a Dream" as a bonus track in the US edition of the album. Depending how the track will perform WW, it could be included on the other editions as well, but I don't see this happening yet.

A new song from them called "High and Low" goes for US Triple A adds on August 29, so I assume they will release the track on August 19 or August 26. Can't wait!

"Walking on A Dream" was my favourite song of 2009, although the majority of the album was a let-down, and "Alive" was a pretty decent tune. This one might grow on me, it's okay on first listen.
