Pure Grinding [11 votes, 28.95%] 'Wake Me Up' was released as the lead single from 'True', and with it having country/folk elements was a very different direction for Avicii, but it of course worked - giving him his biggest hit as well as one of the biggest hit singles of the decade across the world, going to #1 in 17 different countries [and probably more when you add the countries not listed in acharts.co] as well as making the top 5 in the US, already a hard chart to crack but moreso for a dance artist. Calling it iconic just isn't enough. Vote for your least favourite Avicii single (hard to choose one I know) and the song with the most votes will leave. |
