Thread inspired by https://www.telltalesonline.com/28859/lady-...-crazy-moments/

I've selected perhaps her three most controversial moments. Select the one you were NOT a fan of for whatever reason and state why. If none offended you in any way, select the last poll option tongue.gif

R.Kelly/Do What U Want video

Although she weren't to know about the revelations of what he had done.

Apart from that,

The rest of them haven't bothered me at all.

The thing that bothered me about DWUW at the time was the way the single was handled after the initial reaction. IIRC before R. Kelly was exposed, the song got a generally positive response from fans and the GP and it could have done much better in different metrics in the US. I think it could have gone top 5 (possibly top 3) on radio and built up some nice longevity on iTunes, but then the confusion on how the video should be handled and then scrapping it altogether gave mixed signals and radio thought “maybe this single is over”. And it had 1 or 2 really good live performances as well.

Then again the revelations meant that she basically yeeted ARTPOP out of existence so

R Kelly.

She can get vomited on whenever she likes.

R Kelly although at the time I was oblivious to his past until I seen the recent docuseries on him.

I do feel there’s no way Gaga would’ve willingly worked with someone she thought was capable of that.

I’m so glad now though that the music video never surfaced despite at the time being gutted.

The video would have ruined her.

In retrospect, definitely the R.Kelly/DWUW fiasco.

The Meat Dress *should* bother me, but it's too much of a statement to do so.
