I would welcome a shortened Season 7 of The Good Wife. Season 6 had a lot of bad episodes. A 13 ep season would be nothing short of excellent.

Deadline reports that Person of Interest (the only one not owned by CBS) has a 13 episode order for a potential final season whilst everything else seemingly has a full season order. I can't at how The Good Wife gets better treatment than shows that perform better in the ratings (in the best way)

That's a shame, I really didn't think IT would be one of the shows to get short shrift. The ratings aren't what they were, but they moved it to a rubbish slot and it's held its own for the most part. I just hope this isn't the end, although it seems pretty likely that it is.

Emmy's, Golden Globes, Peoples Choice awards.. they always seem to rack up a few nominations. |

Shame PoI seems to be getting the short end of the stick. Now it's hit Syndication we're at the point where CBS has to decide if it gives a shit or not. I'd hate to see it go as it's a wonderful show. Though I am still on Season 2 so if it's gone to shit lately I have no idea!

S4 is a lot less procedural so its easy to see why ratings have dropped and CBS are scared. Clearly the CBS schedule only has room for one show which breaks beyond the confines of it's procedural foundation and puts its characters at the centre and has actual meaningful stories.
