Seen all four of these and he really was brilliant.
1 Capote 2 The Master 3 Charlie Wilson 4 Doubt The top two are both amazing performance. I imagine that Truman Capote is a very hard character to get right but he comoletely nailed it and the performance never got annoying. He was brilliant in The Master too and so believable as the charismatic leader of a religious movement. The other two aren't strong imo but still good. He's a big scene stealer in Charlie Wilson and I did like him in Doubt too, it's just that there never felt like there was much doubt due to the way he played the character. I haven't seen any of his snubs but it's just crazy to look at how many brilliant films he was in. Aside from those above, he was in Boogie Nights, Magnolia, The Ides of March, Moneyball, The Big Lebowski, Along Came Polly, Scent of a Woman, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Almost Famous & of course, The Hunger Games and Mission Impossible franchises. What a filmography! Such a shame he was taken so young. RIP
