And so, the year 2023 has reached it's last month, December. It is the time where we reflect on everything we've done, everything we've experienced and everything we loved this year.

Throughout the year, it has been a rollercoaster year for myself, from going to my lowest point in my life to a high point. From suffering from mental depression to having the best birthday yet in London, a re-discovery of fun with my friends to the highest of highs, the job change into my new nightshift job.

And in terms of music, while the mainstream music has gotten a bit down (according to some articles), in my opinion, it has been another great year, full of discovered goodies, foreign language enjoyment and some banging music.

Firstly, I'll be listing some of my favourite albums of the year, which also will include my top 3 albums of the year which I'll rank them. Last year, my album of the year was "Dawn FM" by The Weeknd, what will be the album of the year for me this year? We'll find out together. + I will leave some recommendations from the album, as well as posting the Spotify link to the album (if you want a YouTube link for the album, I'll do it for one too!)

Before we start the big Year-End farewell to 2023, let's see what my top 10 songs were from the last year:

Last year, Sophie and the Giants & Purple Disco Machine were "In The Dark" and claimed the song of the year 2022, both of them even went #1 this year with "Paradise", but will it be the song of the year? Not to mention Purple Disco Machine also went #1 himself alongside Kungs with "Substitution", do they claim the song of 2023? This year also saw #1 songs from Fedez, Annalisa, Boomdabash, The Kolors and many more. In total, 23 songs (so far) have hit #1 in 2023. Which song will be having the title of "Song of the Year 2023"?
