Avicii - Heaven peaking only at 20 and dropping out the chart within weeks.
At least we got SOS being a big hit but Heaven really deserved better too. |

Lizzo 'Juice' & 'Truth Hurts'. If Good As Hell can get to #7 - these two should have made the top 5! Juice in particular a #1.
I think both have been quite significant and will be remembered well despite the low peaks. Also 'Late Night Feelings' by Mark Ronson and Lykke Li deserved much better!! |

I’ll start Absolutely. I wish Dua pushed 'Kiss & Make Up' more too!Kill This Love by BLACKPINK deserved better than a peak of #33. When I read this topic title, the first song that came to my mind is... Carly Rae Jepsen - Run Away With Me. I really don't understand how that didn't go top 40! It had ridiculously strong playlisting and came off the back of a decent sized hit for her. Put all that together with an absolute beast of a pop song and it really deserved so much more. Also, in terms of peak Ariana - Into You deserved better as did Love Me Harder! |

'Be Someone' by CamelPhat & Jake Bugg never quite sneaking into the top 40 was a shame!

God is a Dancer was a big hit on my personals so was surprised to see it only hit top 20 in the UK charts.

here’s my periodic “”Close To Me” deserves better and shouldn’t have been prematurely sent to ACR” post
I’ll start Part of me says “YES” but on the other hand this song had a decent peak for being their first full Korean song without any added impact from Western artists.Kill This Love by BLACKPINK deserved better than a peak of #33. 5SOS - Easier deserves a higher peak and Good As Hell deserves better longevity than it got. Also MEDUZA - Lose Control should have gone top 10. |

Agree on Lizzo being the one that deserved much better with Truth Hurts and Juice, at least she made it big with Good as Hell
From the ones that did well but should have done even better: Taylor - Lover peaking at #14 Katy Perry - Never really over #12 And then there are a lot of great songs that made the top 100 but should have been at least top 40, especially all the Lana del Rey singles... Hope is a Dangerous only peaking at #99 is sad Hope is a Dangerous thing…/99 Doin’time/42 F**k it I Love You/59 Normal F**king Rockwell/44 also: Ellie Goulding - Flux peaking at a dismal #97 Avril Lavigne - Head above water/84 Vampire Weekend - This life #89 and even worst for Dido not even making the top 100 or Bon Iver Dido -Take you home Bon Iver - Hey Ma |
