Really can't wait to hear this. All of the typical 'single-type' sounding songs from the debut were amazing, so hopefully this is a step up. 
The hype is building like mad right now. Harry and members of his team have uploaded the Do You Know Who You Are? poster to their stories, Harry's commented on fans' posts on Instagram, the excitement is ramping up. Could we see the song released at midnight EST???

So much better than the rubbish the other 1D members have put out this year.
First listen and although liking it, I'm a tad underwhelmed? Hopefully once the initial disappointment is over I'll like it more. I wanted/expected an epic like SOTT but got somethinv that I've already forgotten.
Im sure it'll grow on me when though now I know what to expect.
But yeah, his stuff is so much more.. natural and I think that's why it works for him. The others all seem to have an identity crisis.

I guess re. Niall. But Slow Hands is so different to This Town and his new one is something completely different to both. Not necessarily a bad thing, it's just not as consistent as Harry. Maybe not a "crisis" as such, just being influenced by different eras and doing his own thing with it.
I’m surprised by the lack of Spotify support. I know It’s been added to TTH and HHUK but it’s so low. Harry on name alone and hype should at least be top 10 in both.

Perry generic in the sound and lyrics. After the massive event that was SOTT and all the build up this new track it feels extremely underwhelming.
This is pretty good, the 1D solo singles this week have been on point!

Where to start with the video though, omg *.* incredible.
I woke up a little earlier than usual this morning, purely by chance, so I had time to listen to this through my headphones in bed without any distractions. As the verse started, I was a little unsure, but I really got into it by the end and it's continued to grow to absolute LOVE. As far as lead singles go, obviously it's no Sign of the Times and it was never going to come close to that, so I'm not disappointed. Played the song so much today, really hoping it can nab a respectable debut in the chart (not expecting top 10 or anything but even a top 40 puts him above all of the other recent solo singles)
The video is not just his best video, but the best by any 1D member in their solo careers. Superb!!

There's something very Frank Ocean about this tbh.
It's growing on me, but not too much atm. About 2 mins in, it starts to grate on me a lil. The video is pretty "eh. It's fine enough".

That would be a truly baffling scenario, because as you said, it's done so well on Spotify. Radio has responded to it SO well over here and I'm delighted, but not sending it to US radio would be the first slip up of the era for Harry's label. Here's hoping they have a plan...
I keep thinking they have a plan. I have no idea what it is but I hope things will be good for Harry. So surprised to see streaming numbers he is doing. So good! At least we will get a director cut for 'Lights Up' soon. It already looks impressive and interesting. I love his aesthetic.

Interesting decision to go for a stripped back version!! It worked really well though, his voice on the "step into the light" part 
This song has really been stuck in my head the past few days, particularly the "all the lights couldn't put out the dark" etc. verse. Probably my second favourite from him following 'Sign of the Times'.
I don’t know why but this to me (official version) sounds more like a ZAYN track than Harry. But I do really like it. It was a #2 in my personal chart and was pretty instant too.
Harry and ZAYN are way up there in terms of solo 1D material but I think Harry has more edge as a performer and more of a presence / aura about him.
