Delta has confirmed in an interview that her debut album is being repackaged as an acoustic album!
QUOTE Your first album, Innocent Eyes, is being repackaged as an acoustic version and hits shelves next month—what was the catalyst for reworking it? “It’s 10 years since its original release and it’s just been named the best-charting album by an Australian in 30 years. It was seven-and-half months at number one—and that was really special. So basically it’s in celebration of ARIA releasing these statistics. It was an incredible moment and I’m extremely proud.” http://deltadaily.com/2013/09/24/delta-goo...ue-for-release/ Really excited to hear this, it's not my favourite of her albums but all five of the singles were PERFECT and I'll still revisit two or three album tracks also. |

Oh this sounds great! Definitely looking forward to hearing this - especially if Born to Try's on there (which it inevitably will be). Hope there's a couple of new tracks on there too, like Justin's Believe Acoustic album.

This album was very much about the singles and about 2 other tracks for me, Mistaken Identity is a MUCH better album.
Still, this should be interesting. |

I liked her Child of the Universe acoustic versions because they were new songs, but hearing 10 year old songs doesn't really excite me to be honest.

Oh my god Innocent Eyes is my all time favourite album, I'm ready to become obsessed with it all over again!
Aside from the singles, A Year Ago Today, In My Own Time, Throw It Away, Longer, This Is Not Me, Butterfly and Will You Fall For Me are all gorgeous too, the whole album aside from Running Away pretty much! |

That must be weird, there's songs on there she wrote when she was 13. Haha.

I liked her Child of the Universe acoustic versions because they were new songs, but hearing 10 year old songs doesn't really excite me to be honest. I'm the opposite. Because they are so old now I'm really looking forward to hearing how her voice has matured and changed over the decade as well as seeing if she's put a new spin on some of the classics. |

I too am looking forward to this, Innocent Eyes has always been a firm favourite album wise. *plans to listen to the 10 year old album later this evening, a Delta listening party to celebrate this news*

I will probably buy this but it would be nice if they included a few unreleased tracks as well!

It's sounding so good! That clip is pretty much exactly what I was hoping she'd do.

Exciting, I've always loved This Is Not Me, the lyrics of that and In My Own Time have always resonated so strongly with me. I hate that they're both regarded as filler!

Ooh I may give this a listen. I LOVED the singles and the album at the time. 'Not Me, Not I' and 'Innocent Eyes' are far and away her best songs (in my superior opinion, ofc!)
