She also changed her pfp to the background of the instagram posts and said there's an announcement on January 5th. Time unconfirmed. It looks like the beginning of a new era as its a new aesthetic. Also, the 4 singles released in 2022 (Cate's Brother, Blonde, Good Enough & Not Another Rockstar) are apparently not appearing on the upcoming album as she said they are stand alone singles. She also tweeted that the album was finished In December, and the cover art was shot, and she's aiming for an early autumn release. I'll update when the announcement comes on Thursday, I'm guessing its the lead single from MP2, but I'm so hyped! Shes one of my favourite artists so I can't wait for a new album!

So everything she's released from 'Cate's Brother' onwards has been a "buzz single" then? I've kind of lost track at this point (and sadly given up hope of her making a proper breakthrough )

Its such a heartbreaking song but i cant stop playing it! The standard of quality in everything she puts out is so high! shame nothing she does seems to do anything officially
