Ariana and Lana both picked up another point each this week (with 'One Last Time' and 'Born To Die' respectively) and now round 4 is open, for two more days. This time it's UK chart near misses. The latest Ariana YouTube milestone was a big one! '7 rings' has now passed 500 million views. It is the most watched from the 'thank u, next' campaign!

There have been other bits and pieces too like 'Dangerous Woman' receiving a Love Island related iTunes boost and a few stories in her general discussion thread, such as being photographed with Katy Perry and Demi Lovato. Broadway legend Kristin Chenoweth announced a brand new album 'For The Girls' this week that pays tribute to female musical legends, via covers! Unfortunately Ariana failed to win any EMAs at the 2019 ceremony despite receiving a whopping 7 nominations. But it's been a good week for her otherwise in our general discussion thread! First, 'no tears left to cry' was named as the 9th best song of the decade by Stereogum. 'Into You' also showed up in their list at #41! Her power in the charts has also been recognised - such as her not leaving the Billboard Hot 100 for over a year and a half (as 'Don't Call Me Angel' is still there). She's also been recognised as the 12th biggest artist of the decade by Billboard and Rolling Stone have said that she's averaged 89.8 million weekly streams this year. Amazing! Big news this week in the world of Ariana was her appearance at the Grammy Awards! Sadly she went home with 0 awards, after Billie Eilish dominated the night, but positive talking points were still easy to find away from that! Firstly, Ariana rocked up to the red carpet in a blue flowing dress, accompanying gloves and blonde hair! Many people quickly took to social media to say that she looked like a princess. This week there were multiple Ariana tidbits to post about in the General Discussion thread. Firstly, the 40th Brit Awards ceremony took place this week - where Ariana was nominated for Best International Female. Sadly she went home empty handed. Next, rumour mill went into overdrive when Nickelodeon posted a silhouette of a female figure that looks suspiciously like Ariana. Victorious 10th anniversary celebrations? It's been another busy week in the general discussion thread. Firstly, Ariana gave an angelic live performance as part of Jason Robert Brown's virtual concert.
