Thought we could try something a little different to the usual song survivor and have one that looks at tour performances. This enables us to consider not just the songs themselves but also regard the visuals, the choreography, the way they've been reworked, perhaps personal connection if you were among the lucky ones to see her live. All this could work both in favour and against this working, but it's a worth a shot, particularly as we're looking back at one of Madonna's most celebrated tours as it reaches the 10 year mark since commencing.

You'll see I've excluded interludes (of which Wikipedia tells me there were three) since they don't actually show Madonna live and I feel they wouldn't be fairly treated among songs that she actually performed herself, but nevertheless feel free to talk about them in the comments if you wish! Discussion, after all, is what makes these games meaningful.

The songs are widely available on YouTube, including the full set here.

I Love New York. It's basically the album version with added swearing and does little to enhance the song as she basically just stands there playing the guitar. Also it's not a very good song, but you knew that already.

I've just watched this tour for the first time ever and can concur that I Love New York was the worst.

Live To Tell, Hung Up and Forbidden Love though! *.*

YES! Also a huge fan of 'Like a Virgin', 'Jump', 'Music Inferno' and 'Erotica'.

Will have to have a re-watch of the tour myself, but I can already tell it won't be long till I'll be voting some of my favourites out.

Excited for this! I listen to the album often but I need to properly watch the tour video and get properly invested into these polls.

There's no bad points to this tour at all, but I have to agree with 'I Love New York'. It works with a rockier sound but it's true there's nothing more to the performance other than her standing there and I feel there's much better moments on the tour that also have little choreography or visuals to accompany.

New round up tomorrow, get your last minute votes in!
