I'm getting bored with Casualty again at the moment, Mason can leave as quick as he arrived I just do not like the character at all, Ethan can leave now as well he has stayed past his best before, Rash coming into his own a bit but where have all the strong females gone, there's about 9/10 male leads to about 3 female and that's scraping the barrel... paramedics now never do another they turn up and next minute at hospital and leave and I like Ruby and Jan and miss Iain, Duffy going is a big mistake and unfortunately Charlie again be redundant more than usual so might as well pop off with her.

Can we just talk about how moving the last two episodes have been, a touching exit for Duffy. I think the show is on top form at the moment and I hope it continues. However, as much as I hated the character what was the point of Mason exactly? His death has already been forgotten
In other news, Stirling Gallacher has been cast as Ffion Morgan who is Jan’s wife. Her casting was also announced alongside the return of Jan’s son Ross. |

Casualty’s been great lately!
The Mason death episode was handled brilliantly but aside from the episode they found him it has been forgotten. Hopefully it’ll come back to the forefront of the show and we will find out how exactly he died (if this has always been revealed someone fill me in). But yes the last two episodes especially we’re very touching. Duffy was such a legend and her exit was really hard to watch but very well acted. The little subtle scenes like when they wheeled her away to organ donation and Charlie seen her as he remembered her or the ending of last nights when he made two cups of tea |

Yeah Mason's death was revealed in the episode after to be because of undiagnosed cardiomyopathy (heart disease) to which Dylan adds the NHS pressures being a factor too

They skipped an episode of Casualty tonight due it to being inappropriate to show. So we got like an episode a week early? I thought it seemed quite off by the previously trailer I was thinking I can’t remember that happening at some scenes. Makes sense now that’s been mentioned though. |

They skipped an episode of Casualty tonight due it to being inappropriate to show. Lots of talk of a possible virus outbreak and that the cast had PPE that perhaps wasn’t a mirror of truth for the NHS. It’s a good call given what’s going on, but creates a hole in Marty’s storyline in what seemed like a pinnacle episode with his dad. Couldn’t care less about Fenisha though though it would’ve been good to see Will lay into Ethan properly |

Did they kill off Marty’s dad in the pulled episode?
I seem to remember him saying “the last thing I said was I was ashamed of him” in the recap part |

I don’t think so? Marty briefly appeared at the end having been on shift so I doubt he’d have been there grief stricken
Off air now for 3 weeks too |

Filming has restarted briefly for a special episode that’ll deal with the effects coronavirus has had on Holby

Returns on Saturday at 7:35pm, looks good! Episodes have been cut to 40-45 minutes from next week onwards.
Bobby Lockwood joins the cast as a new paramedic Leon Cook from 9th January. Returns have been confirmed for Iain, Grace and Jan's son Ross |

A fantastic episode, really well done. Both Casualty and Holby City have accurately portrayed the pandemic in a sensitive manner. Tonight's episode was the 'special' episode mentioned previously which was filmed separate to the rest of the series; it's likely there'll be a time jump from next week.
VERY SAD about Noel |
