IT'S BACK!

SUNDAY 13TH NOVEMBER
21:00pm-22:45pm

The apparent line-up according to The Sun (who are very reliable when it comes to this kinda stuff) -

Scarlett Moffat (Gogglebox star)
Ola Jordan (Strictly dancer)
Joel Dommett (Comedian)
Larry Lamb (Actor)
Sam Quek (Team GB athlete)
Carol Vorderman (TV ICON)
Lisa Snowdon (Radio host/model)
Wayne Bridge (Footballer)
Martin Roberts (Homes Under the Hammer presenter)
Danny Baker (Broadcasting legend)
Adam Thomas (Emmerdale actor)
Jordan Banjo (Member of Diversity)

That's actually a really good line-up! ohmy.gif Really surprised to see big names such as Carol and Larry doing the show and I'm really intrigued to see how they come across. Obviously the whole country will fall in love with Scarlett! wub.gif

Lisa Snowdon yaaas

Posted by: Froot. 8th November 2016, 03:01 PM

Scarlett is surely the winner, I'm upset that this means she'll be leaving Gogglebox though as she's the best on there!

It has the potential to be a great line up on the whole, the only two I find a bit random are Jordan (considering the only Diversity members people know are Ashley and the afro kid) and Joel.

SO happy that we don't have any TOWIE/Chelsea/Geordie reality people on this year! I hope CBB can follow suit but we know that ain't going to happen.

Posted by: Davidson 8th November 2016, 03:06 PM

Only know 4 of them.

I need someone as iconic as Lady C please.

Scarlett Moffat (Gogglebox star)

Ola Jordan (Strictly dancer)
Sam Quek (Team GB athlete)

The person at the top of the quote has the competition in the bag, no one will even come close to her!

The two women below in the quote will provide some much needed eye candy.

Posted by: Jade 8th November 2016, 03:21 PM

I agree with Froot that Scarlett already seems like the obvious winner here. She comes across as so likeable and funny on Gogglebox, so I think the nation will fall in love with her in a similar way to Vicky last year.

Larry Lamb and Carol Vorderman are great names! Looking forward to seeing what they'll be like on the show.

Lmao at that randomer from Diversity. Even in the article where they were first announced he was stated as 'Ashley Banjo's brother' laugh.gif

Well I've never heard of Scarlett but is being on Gogglebox enough to be a celebrity nowadays?

I always THINK I like it much more than I actually do. I think the last series I properly enjoyed was the one with Ashley Roberts in it.

It just doesn't help that a majority of my twitter have been spaffing over it since the first tiny teaser drama.gif It's just exactly the same every year, and the same people ae the ones who moan at X Factor for being fake. It sounds silly but things always seem worse to me when they are hella overrated and you can barely escape talk of it drama.gif

Sam Quek was in the gold medal winning Team GB hockey team. Defo the best looking person going into the jungle!

Posted by: bipolar angel 11th November 2016, 11:23 AM

ant and dec are hosting it.

that is all I need to know. I've missed them on tv!

who does adam thomas play in emmerdale

and i've finally think I've figured out who Joel is.

wasn't he part of the UK series of impractical jokers?

then went on to be a guest on that sky 1 show with ricky wilson

oh what's it called.. bring the noise

Posted by: Liаm 11th November 2016, 11:25 AM

Adam is Adam Barton in emmerdale!

Posted by: Dobbo 13th November 2016, 12:23 PM

Yeah that's quite a good line up, altho we do need a Lady C like controversial figure to stir up the drama, that was what made last series one of the best IMO.

Posted by: 🎄cqmerqn🎄 13th November 2016, 08:51 PM

Lady C is the most iconic

Posted by: Houdini 13th November 2016, 09:18 PM

Quite a nice looking bunch that they've got this year. Sam Quek & Ola Jordan are fucking stunning! heart.gif

Carol Vorderman & Lisa Snowden are decent as well so it's a nice treat for the eyes this year biggrin.gif

Posted by: Jack 13th November 2016, 09:25 PM

I've got a feeling they'll all get on this year and it could be a fairly tame series in that respect.

I quite agree! Sam & Lisa in particular (I'm sure Ola used to be waaay hotter! she's still VERY nice of course)

Quite a young cast this series I've noticed, Carol doesn't give off the impression of token old lady whatsoever, leaving Larry to fly the experience flag.

I was thinking the same, and now that we are 16 (?) seasons in - the cast becomes increasingly important in my view. There's only so many tasks they can do and the format is very tired for me now, but a fantastic cast can give it the boost it needs - Lady C and Ferne were fantastic last year, Kendra was good the year before, the Amy Willerton vs everyone dynamic in 2013 was great viewing too and of course there was the fantastic Ashley Roberts and Stacey Solomon sets of series just before that. I'm not seeing anyone in this line-up that is going to provide anything of particular interest other than to be "nice".

I will still be watching as I always do, but I was already losing interest by the end of tonight's episode - there's no-one grabbing me and even at such an early stage I'm pretty sure the likes of Lady C and Ashley Roberts already showed potential.

Posted by: mr_pmt 14th November 2016, 08:08 PM

Carol Vorderman has actually modified her face beyond all recognition. Blimey.

Posted by: JosephStyles 14th November 2016, 08:09 PM

I actually enjoy I'm a Celeb more when the cast generally get along - it's light entertainment for me, someone like Lady C made it hard to watch last year, she was utterly vile. I'm liking the cast right now, think it's gonna be quite a fun series, Scarlett is my favourite so far wub.gif

I agree, manufactured drama is fine when it is Big Brother, or there is an actual genuine clash. Lady C just was a bit of a c**t and started off for no reason.

Posted by: Houdini 14th November 2016, 09:40 PM

I wonder if John Terry is at home watching I'm a celebrity now that Wayne Bridge is in the jungle? or maybe he's round Frankie's house instead basil.gif

Posted by: Jack 14th November 2016, 09:59 PM

Yeah this is boring af laugh.gif I'm gonna give it a miss I think.

Posted by: Dobbo 14th November 2016, 11:04 PM

Lady C was essential last year, loved the huge bust ups & her insults to Tony & Duncan were hilarious!

Altho I didn't like it when she refused to do all the trials so there was a downside.

Her best line tho...

Posted by: 🎄cqmerqn🎄 14th November 2016, 11:07 PM

I agree. I found it so disappointing when Lady C refused to do the trials but I found it HILARIOUS when she always flirted with Ant & Dec (poor them!)

Hopefully one of the new arrivals can bring some drama. Where you at Katie Hopkins?

Posted by: Froot. 16th November 2016, 03:43 PM

I don't think I'm a Celeb needs drama really! It's mainly focused on humour rather than pitting the celebrities against each other and its humour is what I mainly watch it for! You don't see that much of the days in camp anyway when you factor in the trial and the Dingo Dollar challenges and random funny moments that happen in camp.

I think all this influx of reality shows like TOWIE/Geordie Shore/Ex on the Beach has meant audiences now just expect nastiness/fights as a constant given in every reality show episode now which has particularly drastically affected the quality of shows like Big Brother in turn. I don't like the fact that we've got to the position that without those constant fights, reality TV is now boring. Don't get me wrong, a fight is (or rather can be) entertaining but its getting to a ridiculous point now in reality TV that they've lost the shock/entertainment value for me.

Bit of a tangent there but basically I never watch I'm a Celeb for fights and I never expect them. Its not that sort of show for me.

Lady C was fun for a while last year but she got a bit tiring and her flat out refusal to do trials without even attempting them is what I call boring!

Posted by: PeteFromLeeds 16th November 2016, 06:10 PM

Agree with most people on here, I really didn't like last year's drama. I hope this year they'll all just get along, a personality wouldn't go astray but we really don't need drama.

Looking forward to tonight's trial!

Posted by: Froot. 17th November 2016, 02:40 PM

It's just the same as it always is so if you've watched all the other series, I don't see how you can call last night's episode boring unless you are just bored of the format.

Posted by: 🎄cqmerqn🎄 17th November 2016, 04:11 PM

How was last nights show boring?! Adam was hilarious

Posted by: jase. 17th November 2016, 05:33 PM

Really? laugh.gif Outside of the trial and Adam being hysterical over spiders, we had a task involving morse code which seemed to drag ON and ON, and it was about as exciting as watching paint dry.

Posted by: dandy* 17th November 2016, 06:40 PM

But that is what it is like every single year isn't it?

I can completely get why you may find it boring as it is essentially like watching a rerun of the exact same script year in year out but with different actors, however if you like the show then I can't really see why yesterday's episode was any better or worse than the others.

Posted by: Sabrina. 17th November 2016, 07:41 PM

I'm enjoying this series. Its nice to have it a little sedate after the rather uncomfortable to watch last series.

I really like Joel. He looks like a cross between a young Ben Cross and Rupert Everett.

He's bloody funny as well!

Well it's simple really, I haven't found previous tasks as mind-numbingly boring as them trying to figure out morse code for what felt like half an episode.. laugh.gif

Could? He's an obnoxious, loud-mouthed, gloating buffoon!

In fact - the only person I like on the yellow team is Ola.

Posted by: Mack 18th November 2016, 11:19 PM

Couldn't have put it better myself. We just need an argument. Tensions will rise.

Posted by: Ryan. 19th November 2016, 12:05 AM

I haven't watched the last two episodes, I just haven't been grabbed at all. Yes its the same format and I'm probably bored of all the tasks being the same year-on-year, but the cast just isn't that interesting to me either and as I said before, a good cast can make up for the format's repetitiveness. I liked Scarlett and Joel but the rest were just nice and nothing more. I don't even need a controversial or argumentative character, but none of them bar the aforementioned two seem that funny either - there's no Stacey Solomon or Ferne McCann or Ashley Roberts. They are all just nice but bland. Not sure if the new arrivals have improved things, but I doubt two older men are what the cast needed.

Posted by: Dobbo 19th November 2016, 12:11 AM

It's got a lot more interesting now they've added the split dynamic where they go up against each other, I feel it's only a matter of time before some cracks begin to show & I think the new starters are already looking like ruffling a few feathers (more each other's than anything so far actually). I'm still enjoying it for the time being!

I think the addition of Martin is good. He seems to have a short fuse and gets irritable when he doesn't eat!

I like him!

Posted by: jase. 22nd November 2016, 10:11 PM

Anybody still watching? Last nights show (outside of Adam being hilarious in the trial) was another chore to watch with exciting highlights including Scarlett trying to throw her hat like a frisbee onto Sam's head.

Posted by: JosephStyles 22nd November 2016, 10:21 PM

You're quite the ray of sunshine in this thread aren't you kink.gif

I'm definitely still watching, enjoying the light entertainment! I can't decide if Martin Roberts is extremely irritating or perfect comedy value, or both laugh.gif

Posted by: jase. 22nd November 2016, 10:24 PM

I LOVE the show so I obviously really want to enjoy it but I just can't remember a year/a series where I've been SO bored before laugh.gif I don't even find the 'light entertainment' entertaining

Posted by: Dobbo 22nd November 2016, 10:57 PM

Martin has reinvigorated this series for me, good bit of fiery banter early on with Danny to that WTF tree-hugging moment. He is a bit of a big girl's blouse though!

Who do people think will win this year? I think it will be Adam, Scarlett & Joel top 3 in that order.

Posted by: JosephStyles 22nd November 2016, 11:24 PM

That's a good call! I think Larry could stand a chance of top 3 also, and I think Scarlett will win still. I would have said Carol a week ago but she's faded into the background a bit since the new arrivals, but I expect her being a big name will keep her in a bit longer than someone like Sam who, unless she wins the immunity challenge, is surely first out?

Posted by: Bluth 22nd November 2016, 11:32 PM

The first two out will definitely be Lisa & Sam! It's a shame about Sam as I've actually quite been enjoying her, having known nothing about her (apart from the Gold medal obvs) beforehand. Lisa just seems to be invisible though and I find it both amusing and harsh that she was voted last for the first Camp President and she was picked last for the Hungry Games. I think she's entered the jungle way too late in her career if she was wanting to be a popular campmate.

Posted by: jase. 22nd November 2016, 11:53 PM

If Adam continues being his charming/loveable self, I can definitely see him taking the crown with Scarlett second and Joel third.

Posted by: Kath 23rd November 2016, 12:44 AM

Adam's a pain in the arse. He thinks he's funny but he isn't - just infantile. I don't believe for a minute he's scared of any critters - he wants to be nominated for trials as he knows it gives him more air-time. Yes I know they all want to win it - but he knows exactly how to win it.

My favourite female is Lisa - she's so dryly funny. Fave male is still Joel. I do like Martin though - he's marmite! Can't stand Danny Baker (although missed it tonight and I believe he did well in the task).

On the whole though - this has been one of the most boring IAC in a long time (possibly ever).

Posted by: PeteFromLeeds 24th November 2016, 03:26 PM

Lisa or possibly Martin to get out first, I think.

If its a vote to save - Martin will be in for quite a while. If its a vote to evict - he may be in trouble.

Personally - I'd like him to be in for as long as possible - he's making what would otherwise be a rather boring series quite enjoyable.

I'd love for Adam to be got rid of - but unfortunately he appears to be the bookies' favourite!

Posted by: jase. 25th November 2016, 08:41 PM

Its a shame really - of the women Lisa and Ola are my favourites - in fact - I like Lisa over all of the men even - with the exception of Martin and Joel. I know Sam is pleasant enough - but I wish it was Lisa who was safe and not her. Sam's almost as invisible as boring as Jordan. Hopefully - Lisa may be saved by Jordan's cloak of invisibility!

Posted by: Martyn 25th November 2016, 08:50 PM

I felt he was genuinely funny last night - I loved him drenching Adam!

Posted by: Dobbo 25th November 2016, 11:33 PM

Martin is definitely the best campmate this year, that Brewery trial was pure gold. I'm liking Adam a lot more now too.

Shame Danny left but he did go a bit out of the spotlight in recent episodes which is probably why. I expected Lisa to go but she had that trial (and therefore extra air time) in the nick of time!

I think had she not had immunity Sam would have gone, has she done anything at all this series?

No. I'm hoping Sam goes out next. Her or Jordan. They add absolutely nothing to the show.

I'm so hoping Martin last until the final 6 or so.

Posted by: PeteFromLeeds 26th November 2016, 10:07 AM

Can't believe Lisa didn't go. I think she'll be gone today.

Posted by: Davidson 26th November 2016, 11:29 AM

I'm so glad Lisa didn't go, I love her.

Going to give her my app votes tonight and try and give her one more day.

Posted by: Bluth 26th November 2016, 12:38 PM

So shocked that Danny left, Carol was in the bottom 2 (possibly) and that Lisa survived! I think Sam is definitely in danger tonight.

Martin will probably get to around the halfway mark. He's so irritating though, he just acts and behaves like a child. When he was part of the royal side, he was loving it and forcing the rest of camp to do everything for him but when he was dethroned, he just spat his dummy out and basically had a tantrum, wanting to rebel against the royals. If anyone rebelled against him whilst he was a royal, he would be fuming and saying it was against the game!!

Posted by: Dobbo 26th November 2016, 01:33 PM

^But that makes for better TV than if everyone just conformed to the norm.

He'll be getting all my votes from this point on.

I can't believe that before going into this Larry Lamb was one of my favourites. He's proven himself to be nothing but VILE! Boring, sad, pathetic, VILE old man.

And more than a little bit pervy!

Posted by: Davidson 26th November 2016, 10:10 PM

C'mon. Okay, I'm not really agreeing with the way he is speaking to Martin, but really? Pervy?

Insinuating someone could be a pervert/perverted isn't really productive when he's really shown nothing of the sort.

Apart from losing his rag and snapping a few times he hasn't really done much wrong thus far (although if the Martin thing escalates that may change).

Posted by: Kath 26th November 2016, 10:15 PM

I thought it was just a wee bit when he had Scarlett on his knee at the beginning! Just was a little .... strange!

Posted by: Kath 26th November 2016, 10:16 PM

Well done Wayne. The trial wasn't that bad though I suppose. To be honest - all the trials this year seem to have been easier than in previous years.

And he beat Adam!

I actually think the trials have been quite tough, it's just this year's cast have been far more up for them. You wouldn't have seen Helen Flanagan or Gillian McKeith do any of these trials this year!

Larry not showing a desirable side to him in tonight's show.

Posted by: torresgirl 26th November 2016, 10:29 PM

I quite liked Larry at the beginning but didn't like what he did tonight at all. Very aggressive and uncalled for. I think he's a bit peeved Martin (who can be very irritating I grant you) has taken away attention him. He wants to be Leader!

Martin is a pain in the arse - but there's no malice about him at all - he's harmless and Larry has sensed an easy target.

Larry hasn't done himself any favours tonight. Martin has leapfrogged over him in the betting stakes (and quite rightly so).

Larry the lamb is just coming across as a boring, grumpy old man. I think he will be voted off soon (there is a bit of ageism in the voting - younger contestants always seem to make it further anyway)

I agree and he's not been as annoying the last few days as before. He's pretty harmless and I think his heart is in the right place. I'm not quite sure who Larry thinks he is after tonight. I no longer want him anywhere near winning!

I think Sam and Jordan can thank him for his behaviour - until that display either one of those two were surely going out - but I can't see anyone other than Larry being voted out tomorrow. Hurrah! Perhaps it'll be a bit more pleasant in there without him.

I really don't know why anyone (Martin perhaps) didn't call Larry out on the cooking thing. It was Sam's domain tonight - he should have butted out and let her get on with it (and Joel should really have told him to). And his comment that the possum should have been slowly cooked - after he tried to quickly stir-fry a goat!

Posted by: Martyn 26th November 2016, 11:18 PM

I actually enjoyed Martin in the Dingo-Dollar-Challenge with Scarlet tonight.

Larry was annoying.

It really depends how tomorrow nights episode is put together as Ola, Sam, Lisa, Jordan and Carol all kind of got the invisible edit tonight. Did Ola even appear after the recap of the first elimination and before the trial reveal?

So I would say safe as they have been shown tonight and the voting is open will be Larry, Wayne, Scarlet, Joel, Adam and Martin.

Yeah I was thinking Sam, Jordan or Ola. All nice enough but all the characteristics of people who go out early. Larry likes to rule the roost. How ironic he's so vocal on Martin wanting to be the loudest voice!

My favs are Joel, Lisa and Wayne but I think Adam or Scarlett might win. Adam I really liked but now I think he's playing up to cameras a bit too much. All that fake laughing? Not sure now. Martin may even have a shot after this and I wouldn't mind him winning.

I'm surprised at how much I've liked Carol in this. I wasn't a huge fan before - but she's been quite kind and even-handed. I don't think she's had enough air-time though to make it past 4th or 5th eviction.

I forgot Carol (which does indicate we haven't seen enough of her) I like her & I liked what she said about Martin tonight. The women understand him.

Posted by: Davidson 27th November 2016, 10:29 PM

Sad Lisa has gone, although I did expect it. She just seems so genuine and warm.

Posted by: Kath 27th November 2016, 10:42 PM

I'm a bit sad Lisa left - when she did have airtime she was quite funny. I really thought Sam would go or even Carol perhaps - although I was hoping for a Larry eviction - I just find him a tad boring (considering the amount of airtime he's gifted).

I really enjoyed Adam and Martin's chat. Don't really think that Jordan, Joel or Scarlett tried hard enough for the answer to Martin's riddle (why on earth did they have to say which campmate's call the riddle was for?) How many months have 28 days - its a bog-standard quiz night question!

Anyway ... any excuse to google Mark Wahlberg!

Lisa was a bit boring.. you could say the same about Sam but I'm quite liking her atm! I think Martin will go far due to his arrogance. Can't stand him.

I'm loving Carol but I think she could have an early exit.

Posted by: 🎄cqmerqn🎄 28th November 2016, 10:02 PM

Sad to see her go

Posted by: torresgirl 28th November 2016, 10:10 PM

I'm not surprised Ola has gone. Ironically she seemed much more interesting in her interview which is often the case.

I really liked tonight's episode. I'm warming to Martin and nice to see Carol more involved.

Posted by: Dobbo 28th November 2016, 10:59 PM

A shame but it's part of the process I guess! She was quite far down the list of who I wanted to see survive.

Wonder if Wayne was legitimately bottom 2 or just a fake one they throw in there on the odd occasion like with Ferne last year.

Posted by: troublepink 29th November 2016, 02:22 PM

Posted by: PeteFromLeeds 29th November 2016, 03:02 PM

Posted by: JosephStyles 29th November 2016, 03:12 PM

It really depends on who gets the airtime tbh - Carol and Sam were likely saved yesterday due to heavily featuring in the trial!

Posted by: PeteFromLeeds 29th November 2016, 03:40 PM

But the voting is open all day? Unless everyone just votes during the show bc they forgot?

Posted by: JosephStyles 29th November 2016, 04:20 PM

I expect they have the highest proportion of votes cast during the show for that exact reason tbh! laugh.gif

Posted by: Davidson 29th November 2016, 04:48 PM

Carol got loads of airtime on last nights episode, I'm not sure if she will go tonight.

I think Sam is the most likely. The next four are definitely going to be Sam, Carol, Wayne and Jordan, could be any order really.

Posted by: PeteFromLeeds 29th November 2016, 04:56 PM

I don't think Martin's going to last that long anymore, he's beginning to settle in which will lose him the votes from the people who want to see trouble

I agree. Now that the Borg Collective have assimilated him - he will have lost some followers. In his own behaviour though - and his asides in the BT - he's still one of the three most interesting people in there (although I am struggling to think who the other two are).

Do they do this?!

--

I have really enjoyed this series, purely for the fact they all get along. What A&D said to Lisa about it being so warm is so true.. I have enjoyed Martin's addition for a bit of the drama, but glad that generally it's been a love in!

Of the ones that have gone, Danny was my least favourite, and Ola despite being quite lovely too was probably most boring. Lisa is the one I'm actually sad to see go. And if Wayne WAS bottom two I'd be sad to see him so low too.

The trouble is I like them all! But the next few I'd like to see go are Martin, Jordan and then Sam. Surprised Jordan has made it so far - Sam at least has shown some real grit in doing the challenges. Jordan has some funny lines but generally his success has surprised me. Then I think Larry.

Basically I would like a top 5 of Scarlett, Adam, Joel (who I think we all agree will likely be the top three) with Wayne and Carol. Carol I think is hilarious and Wayne I have found SO endearing what with his love for his wife and kids, general good guy attitude, fun banter and great work in trials. Sadly I don't think they'll get that far as they've both been 'bottom two' - supposedly.

My ideal final would be Scarlett, Joel and Wayne, though I can't say Adam wouldn't deserve it, he's great too.

Posted by: Dobbo 29th November 2016, 10:01 PM

Surprised Jordan left considering he had the trial but I guess the margins are getting smaller now, glad Martin stayed at least for a day longer but I think he'll be out soon regardless.

I always enjoy the secret mission segment they do each series, definitely picked the best guy to do it!

Posted by: 🎄cqmerqn🎄 29th November 2016, 10:51 PM

So when they announce the bottom 2 is it actually the people with the fewest votes?

Posted by: JosephStyles 29th November 2016, 10:53 PM

Most of the time yes but sometimes they throw in a red herring - they did it once with Ferne last year when she was actually 2nd in the vote and I seem to remember they did it with Dougie Poynter in his year?

Posted by: Dobbo 29th November 2016, 10:54 PM

Not always no, sometimes they just randomise the other celebrity like they did with Duncan, Tony & Ferne at various points last series (Ferne was actually 2nd the week she was announced as bottom 2).

Me too. I actually missed tonight's show (quizzing nite for me and my team of winners) so will catch up tomorrow as I believe there was some chucklesome moments.

I'd love Martin to stay more than a day or so more - but I fear you are right and he may be gone tomorrow. Good thing is though - it means my nights are free as I won't be watching once he's gone (as much as I like Joel and Scarlett).

A few of us have spoken about this at work - we think it could work with Joe Public taking part (they'd have to change the title of the show slightly mind).

I thought two were going to go tonight.

Sad Carol has gone - the only one who was genuinely nice with Martin.

I know its just a game - but for the life of me - I can't see how Larry is still in there. The campmates may think he's the Godfather - but to the viewer - he adds absolutely nothing.

Posted by: Bluth 1st December 2016, 02:48 PM

I've enjoyed the fact that they've all got along this year, it's such a huge difference to the horrible tone that reality shows have come to. I'm not saying it's something that I'd like to see every year but I've definitely liked it this year because it's so refreshing, particularly after the absolutely abysmal Celebrity Big Brother in the summer. It is also particularly important in what has been a disastrous year for the world really.

#spreadworldwidekindness

Posted by: pippa 1st December 2016, 03:33 PM

I agree, its heartwarming to see them all get along so well and also do so well in the trials. While they all get along they remain entertaining and are not boring to watch. This shows you dont have to fighting and falling out to entertain.

I also noticed that this year none of the participants smoke except Adam, usually loads of them do. In contrast nearly all the Big Brother Celebrities smoked like trains

Posted by: Kath 1st December 2016, 08:35 PM

What a petty, moaning minnie Larry is! Making something out of absolutely NOTHING! It must be EE and G&M fans keeping him in.

Yippee! Larry's gone!

Posted by: pippa 2nd December 2016, 02:59 PM

Larry is out, it is actually hard to predict this year between them all who will be next to go. I believe the final three will be Adam, Wayne and Scarlett but, in which order i remain unsure.

Posted by: JosephCarey 2nd December 2016, 03:23 PM

I quite liked Larry aside from the stuff with Martin tbh. Martin would no doubt be massively irritating to live with, but Larry reacted badly to him most of the time. Otherwise I found him likeable and a nice guy so I'm in two minds about his exit.

Martin is surely a goner tonight in the double elimination, alongside Wayne or Sam? I can't see past a final three of Adam, Joel and Scarlett in some order.

I disagree. The jungle is supposed to be challenging. Whoever does the trials definitely needs to make them harder next year, or at least have a lower time limit in which they have to be done in.

Surprised but delighted that Sam is still in! ohmy.gif

Posted by: Adam 2nd December 2016, 09:59 PM

Aw I'm so sad Wayne has gone, especially as he would have survived a single vote. But honestly at the start of the series did I see him coming 5th of 12? No, I'm happy with that.

And as much as Sam isn't my favourite personality, it is heartwarming to see the girl who was SO desperate for immunity day one because she didn't have the fanbase survive SEVEN opportunities to be eliminated and make the top 4.

Good for her. But yes, as has seemed obvious for a few days, an Adam/Scarlett/Joel final. The winner is more uncertain but I'm leaning to Adam. I'd like one of the other two to do it, but wouldn't be mad at whoever won, they've all been ace.

Posted by: JosephCarey 2nd December 2016, 10:02 PM

I've really warmed to Sam recently so I'm delighted to see her in the top 4! I'm not hugely fussed now with who wins as I like them all, it's a great final 4. Scarlett is and always has been my ultimate favourite though!

Posted by: Cremey 2nd December 2016, 10:54 PM

Great top 4, I'd be happy with any of them winning but Adam would be my personal favourite. Genuinely too close to call between the top 3 I think!
Like others, so happy Sam has made the top 4! I'm fairly certain she'll be out next, but she's done far better than I thought she would've done.

Posted by: Qween 2nd December 2016, 11:28 PM

A little IRKED that Wayne ended up beating Martin, not least because of the shit he said about him (or rather Larry encouraged him to say about him) over the last few days. Sam doing so well is still a little baffling to me, much as I like her.

Joel to win, obv. Scarlet or Adam will win though.

Posted by: 🎄cqmerqn🎄 3rd December 2016, 11:13 PM

Odds to win
- Scarlett 4/6
- Adam 9/4
- Joel 13/2
I think these odds are ridiculous! Joel is the obvious winner looking at all of the online polls etc!

I do want Scarlett as the winner tho!

Posted by: torresgirl 3rd December 2016, 11:22 PM

What I want

Joel (Interesting, witty, genuine and loved his comments in the Bush Telegraph)
Adam (irritating/childish and at little fake times but deserves it for all those trials)
Scarlett (Nice and genuine but I think a winner needs to contribute more than that)

What I think

Scarlett
Adam
Joel

Hope to be wrong!

Rooting for Joel.
He's sexy, sweet and funny. God damn, why can't I find a man like him!

Going into this, the only one I knew was Lisa. Lisa turned out to be the biggest disappointment this series. She should have been the first one out for sure.

I adore this Final 3. This may not have been the most controversial season, or the most dramatic, but the Final Three were the most deserving. I can't split hairs between them. I know Scarlett may be the obvious choice, but I could also see Adam or Joel winning and I'd be very satisfied with that result.

This was a great season, very enjoyable to watch. Not memorable, but, none the less - I came back every episode and was interested.

Seriously though, one of the most obvious winners in one of these shows for a long time! Delighted with it though because she really deserves it and I'm happy that Joel came 2nd too because he was probably the least known going in there but he's really shown through in a good way. Really happy for Sam as well because I thought she stood no chance but she seems such a lovely and genuine person. Adam annoyed me though.

Loved the series, showed that you don't need showmances and arguments to be entertaining. Literally SO so so refreshing in this day and age for reality TV and it was never draining to watch.

It's showed that peace and friendship doesn't turn viewers off either as last night's final had 800,000 more viewers than last year. 10.5m and the highest rated final since 2013.

Did seem like the trials got a bit easier towards the end of the series, we didn't have anything like the ones Ferne did last year with that massive snake wrapped round her neck or having to eat a water spider. The last 3 in particular were some of the easiest final day ones I've seen but over the recent history of the show everyone gets 5/5 all the time of them anyway.

It wasn't one of the best series of IAC but it probably wasn't the worst. Could have done with less Adam. When it got to the last 4 - I actually wanted Sam to win. In the end though I'm pretty pleased with Scarlett's win. I think she deserved it.

Having said that - I have to be honest - after Martin left - I didn't watch the rest of it.

Didn't they get loads of stick for some of the trials last year though? No surprise they had to tone them down slightly. Overall, I really enjoyed the series. Sure a lot of it was not must-watch like some of the other confrontations in the past have been, but for the most part it was great light-hearted fun. Plus, I thought it gave a lot of the lesser known celebrities time to shine (e.g. Joel, Jordan, Sam, Adam).

The producers obviously wanted Scarlett to win (and I'm sure ITV will tie Joel up to something pretty sharpish). I wasn't fussed who won, it's as much a fanbase thing as anything.

So the voting stats have since been released, points of interest:

- Scarlett unsurprisingly came top every single day
- Joel was 2nd in all but one window (came 3rd to Adam)
- They only threw in a fake bottom 2 once (Wayne on day 16 although he was surprisingly as low as 8th that day)
- Speaking of which, Wayne was VERY close to making it to the final 4, Sam only just finished ahead
