Fifth Harmony hold onto #1 in the Songs chart for a 5th week in a row, with 'Work From Home'! It's the longest run at the top since Girls Aloud's 'Something New' stayed put for 9 weeks back in 2012. The longest stay for a #1 hit between these two girl group smashes is 4 weeks, achieved by the following:

will.i.am & Britney Spears - 'Scream & Shout' (2012/13) | Katy Perry - 'Roar' (2013) | Cheryl - 'I Don't Care' (2014) | Taylor Swift - 'Blank Space' (2014) | Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars - 'Uptown Funk' (2014/15) | Little Mix - 'Black Magic' (2015) | Fleur East - 'Sax' (2015) | Rihanna feat. Drake - 'Work' (2016)

'Work From Home' becomes only the 21st song out of 272 chart toppers to spend at least five weeks in pole position.

Fifth Harmony prevent Sia from achieving her second #1 (for the time being?); 'Cheap Thrills' climbs up to #2. 'Elastic Heart' & 'Alive' also peaked at this position. Her only #1 is (predictably) 'Titanium'!

There's eleven new entries this week, and the highest comes courtesy of Rihanna, with 'Kiss It Better'. This is one of the clear highlights from her latest album 'Anti', so I'm very pleased this has been given single treatment. Will this go on to become her 22nd(!) #1 in my chart?

I compile my Songs chart based on a feeling~, but with my new Albums chart, I look to play totals on Last.fm to help decide the order of the Top 5. Troye Sivan claims this week's #1 album ('Blue Neighbourhood'), as a new entry. This is due to a couple of listening sessions with Joseph & Bal. It's a stunning album; I'd highly recommend it~. Meanwhile 'Youth' climbs into my Top 10 for the first time, in its 13th week, attaining a new peak of #4.
