It would have been more effective in sepia though. Darius - A TRUE STAR in a challenging iconic part. With the character's "closely clipped black moustache" and sideburns, buckets of acting talent and charisma, Darius is the perfect Rhett Butler - a dark, complicated and emotional iconic character. His great singing and acting talent has been noticed and he's been praised all round. Standing ovations from the audiences and he wowed the critics on press night. "Extraordinary bass baritone", "beautiful high vocals" -"he has mastered that most difficult of arts - singing in character" and plenty more all underlining the extent of his range and power. Acting - The diabolically dashing Darius Danesh (of Pop Idol fame) brings a seductively insolent charm, a dark velvet voice and a genuine, fugitive pathos to the cynical blockade runner - The Independent and a score of others in similar vein Stage presence/charisma - mentioned by just about every critic e.g. Bestriding this shallow world like a colossus, and the only reason this gets two stars rather than one, is Darius Danesh, commanding and charismatic as that “insufferable peacock” Rhett Butler. - The Sunday Times Of course Darius should have a forum on any general music site - professional Opera singing, professional choral singing, solo "pop" singer, musical theatre star, musician, songwriter and when he can get time - record producer. Who else with a forum has such wide musical experience?
