BuzzJack Music Forum _ UK Charts _ Buzzjack Hype Chart #1

Welcome to The Hype Chart. 
Thanks to awardinary for letting me post this - it's entirely his idea! and additional credit to the Movie forum for showcasing this idea with films first!
The purpose of this chart is to build excitement for forthcoming releases before they are listened to, in order to see which artists have the latest following and which singles are most anticipated. It is all about seeing what is trending right now.
These are the rules;
A selection of forthcoming confirmed singles will be posted each week, nothing speculative, but any single which has been confirmed by a trusted source. If the name of the single has not yet been revealed, it will be replaced with "TBA".
You can post your 5-10 most hyped singles of the week out of the ones stated below in the thread, it's as simple as that .
This is to see which upcoming songs have the most anticipation on Buzzjack and also inform you on new releases you might not know about yet!

#1 HAIM TBA [28/04] legends of music, Days Are Gone will be tough to live up to but they've had plenty of time to perfect something
#2 Fall Out Boy - TBA [28/04] their last era had some catchy singles so who knows
#3 Galantis Hunter [28/04] don't know what it'll sound like but they're usually pretty good
#4 Katy Perry - Bon App้tit [28/04] Chained to the Rhythm gives some hope
#5 Chase & Status feat. Blossoms Moment [TBC] interesting collab
#6 Tove Lo The Struggle [TBC] bit worried after the shite-ness of Cool Girl, but hopeful she'll return to her Queen of the Clouds form
#7 Sean Paul feat. Migos Body [TBC] potentially a bop
#8 The Vamps feat. Martin Jensen Middle Of The Night [28/04] well All Night wasn't bad so...?

I've just read this...
Not actually a frequent visitor to the movie forum, but perhaps in the back of my mind I may have remembered seeing a Hype Chart of some kind in the list of new posts and subconsciously took my idea from that title. But I had, and still have, no idea how that particular chart works.
My idea came when discussing chart trends and thinking about annew chart concept.
I put my idea to both Dan and mdh before handing it to mdh to host (as I have the Reshuffle Chart).
I hope that's all ok.

One Republic has confirmed via twitter that a new song is coming this week and, even though it's not on here for whatever reason, it's what I'm most looking forward to right now!
I've only ever really liked (as in listened to more than passively such as by the radio) one song of The Vamps and that was All Night because of Matomas production, so seeing what Martin Jensen can do might be interesting.
I'm also curious as to whether David Guetta is still planning on selling out or is going somewhat back to his roots with these two collaborators. Not something I'm particularly looking forward to as I doubt it'll be good, but I'm also looking forward to at the same time just so I can be sure it's another flop.
Camila Cabello isn't someone in that interested in. I never really liked Fifth Harmony and neither I Know What You Did Last Summer or Bad Things stuck with me. Maybe she'll be better solo, maybe not. We'll see.
Overall not the greatest week for releases in my opinion. I've followed both One Republic & Fall Out Boy for a while now and I am genuinely looking forward to those, but for the others - let's just say I won't be rushing to buy any of their new material.

My revised Hype Chart has to feature Kygo & Ellie Goulding's new single which according to the forum is out on Friday.
Maybe there's a way we can allow members to change/alter their hype chart up until a deadline and include whatever "confirmed" singles that are announced throughout the week?

From next week I intend to have the hypechart on a thursday, this monday was just for the launch.
If the hypechart is out thursday afternoon it gives everyone the chance to post their most hyped songs throughout the day and we'll get most of the releases

I think Wednesday would be better only cause more and more songs seem to be coming out on Thursday morning and most of the songs are online by Thursday afternoon due to being released in other countries!
