However I hate subtitles on foreign films in languages I know well because they're just a distraction. I don't want or need to read them...... but I always do. I couldn't wait to see any film. If I don't go early, I usually forget and have to see it on Dvd.

I think subtitles are only a problem for people who have little or no concentration span or are incredibly narrow minded, I say this because they obviously seen to think that every film in the world should be done in English..... I think that people who only go and see Hollywood films are missing out on a hell of a lot that's out there. It's a bit like eating the same meal every day...Boring.
