If there's a foreign film I want to see but I don't understand the language of course I have to read subtitles.

However I hate subtitles on foreign films in languages I know well because they're just a distraction. I don't want or need to read them...... but I always do.

I couldn't wait to see any film. If I don't go early, I usually forget and have to see it on Dvd.

only when they are forced and you cant get rid of them when sexy lady comes on screen and you want to skip back to she your honey in full view (thankfully most hk and korean films dont seem to have this problem as there are many subs to have)

Just about every foreign language film that's been remade by Hollywood has turned out to be a total pile of crap, so I always go for the originals. I think subtitles are only a problem for people who have little or no concentration span or are incredibly narrow minded, I say this because they obviously seen to think that every film in the world should be done in English.....

I think that people who only go and see Hollywood films are missing out on a hell of a lot that's out there. It's a bit like eating the same meal every day...Boring.
