Was wondering about this as I was hunting through some of my old CD's when playing some songs to my friend last week. Are there any CD's you bought that maybe you liked as a child or supported a charity but are quite ashamed of having now and would rather flog at a charity shop or something.

Like The Tweenies are one that stick out for me, childhood thing at the time but quite embarrasing now I'm 30 lol. I also own 'Queen Of My Heart' by Westlife which maybe I didn't mind so much to get a CD of at the time but don't think the same way now and it sticks out as a rather wtf one in my room. There's also 2 Cliff Richard CD's as well laugh.gif I did quite like 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow'/'What A Wonderful World' but I think I just bought 'Move It' in 2006 for my chart project I was doing at the time rather than cause I wanted to buy it for me particularly.

Over to you!

My collection is full of WTF moments although to some regard I still like all of them.

I guess others may balk at Rainbow - It’s A Rainbow, Rikki & Daz - Rhinestone Cowboy and Jemini’s Cry Baby.

Holding onto the latter, it might be worth something one day 😂

That is so of its time that it's a hilarious time capsule of the mid 00s. If Nuts magazine made a Christmas single...

I have the CD singles of Kaci but to be honest I don't feel too much shame for those lol.

I overspent on cds loads in the 00’s! I regret so many! I’ll probably end up the same way with my vinyl!

Not necessarily an album I bought but I do appear to have this LL Cool J 'Mama Said Knock You Out' CD laying about. I believe my sister had that as my bedroom is her old bedroom haha. Don't think I've ever listened to it but I'll probably sell at some point as I'm not a fan generally.

I had two of their albums, but after the verdict of the case I threw them both out and deleted everything I had of theirs on iTunes. I've never listened to a song of theirs since.

the concept of being ashamed of buying a CD does not compute with me - I have no shame when it comes to music laugh.gif Especially stuff you buy as a kid. I do feel pissed off though at having to buy an album and finding it was rubbish except for the hit radio tracks non-official-singles I was after. I'm looking at you 1990's and Hootie & The Blowfish laugh.gif

Peter Kays's All Star band. Could do with selling that now lol.

Also one I didn't buy but there is a LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out Cd laying around my room from when my sister used to be in it. Think she must've bought it with a boyfriend at the time as even she wouldn't listen to that music now haha.
