Hoping at least one of Anastasia or Lisa wins a match.

Cross though, what a letdown he's been since that incredible title last time out! Hasn't particularly been a vintage year for MVG either so I expect a quite a few upsets at this tournament. Even Anderson I'm not so sure on, perhaps this could finally be Snakebite's moment?

Maybe Gurney has a outside chance. MVG been inconsistent in the TV tournaments.

Great first set from Lisa Ashton who averaged 108 to win that set, not to be as she lost 3-1 to Jan Dekker. Equality has became a reality in darts, Lisa Ashton. Well done Lisa.

Unlucky last night was De Zwaan who averaged 106 in a tight match and was unfortunate to have such a hard draw early on.

Not great to hear about MvG having beer thrown at him before his walk-on.

Lithuania's Darius Labanauskas has knocked out Van Barneveld 3-2 in the second round. Quite a win for him.

He's great, is Ricky Evans. Enjoyed that game! Shame he's out. No more 'Baby Shark ' walk-on for this championship.

What on earth was James Wade playing at with those celebrations in Seigo Asada's face?

From James Wade

QUOTE
"I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologise for my actions last night.

"Seigo Asada is a great player and I would like to say sorry to him, the fans and the PDC. Anyone that has followed my professional career will know this was very out of character for me and I'm disappointed in myself with the way I acted both on the stage and in my interviews after the match.

"I was fighting a battle with myself before I even got on the stage due to a hypomania episode which can happen to me at any time and no-one is more upset than I am about what happened."
