This bop from Chicago indie rock band Beach Bunny has taken off on TikTok and has appeared at #91 in today's chart update! It's from their debut album 'Honeymoon' which I must check out in full at some point.

They dropped a new version of this with Tegan And Sara a couple of weeks ago capitalising on the TikTok buzz:
It doesn't really add much to the song as T&S are just taking over the vocals during the second verse rather than adding a new verse but it's still cute, also a nice touch that they changed the pronouns in the chorus to be different each time ('he' in the first, 'she' in the second and 'they' in the third), we stan an all-inclusive tune x My favourite thing about this remix is the British shorthair cat making a cameo in the video This is such a wholesome song, TikTok did a good deed plucking it out of obscurity to turn it into a minor hit a whole year after it came out. (It was already a top 40 hit in the Bré Forté when it was first released though which is of course more important ) |

I like the new wave vibes of this song, sounds good, not as good as the Bryan Adams song of almost the same name, but still good.
