Uptown Funk is literally unstoppable right now, with 130k sold last week and it's set for a fifth week with there being no competition this week. Here's some of the future releases that could make an impact.
19th January 2015 Meghan Trainor Lips Are Movin 26th January 2015 Fergie L.A.LOVE (LaLa) Hannah Wants & Chris Lorenzo Rhymes Karen Harding Say Something Luvbug Revive Selena Gomez The Heart Wants What It Wants 2nd February 2015 AronChupa Im An Albatraoz Mike Mago & Dragonette Outlines 9th February 2015 Bakermat - Teach Me Charli XCX ft. Rita Ora Doing It Chris Brown ft. Tyga AYO DJ Fresh feat. Ella Eyre Gravity Imagine Dragons I Bet My Life Ne-Yo Coming With You Sheppard Geronimo 16th February 2015 The Avener Fade Out Lines Axwell Λ Ingrosso - Something New Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do Mr. Probz Nothing Really Matters 23rd February 2015 Disciples They Dont Know Madonna Living For Love Omi Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix) I can't see Meghan passing 100k and at this rate Uptown Funk will still be selling that much per week, so I could see it remaining at #1 until Ellie Goulding releases. Which makes it 9 weeks. But of course we could get an big OA/OS release anytime soon, or Hozier could climb to #1 (please no), so who knows. I'll remain optimistic though and predict 9. |

Who would have thought if Mark Ronson could get 9 weeks at #1, after all those 1 weekers at #1 last year

I just can't see more than 6 weeks max. I still reckon Meghan will beat him!

Sadly I can't see Meghan knocking it off either guess #2 will have to do which isn't bad either but on terms of how long I say another 2-4 weeks maybe.

I was expecting Meghan to take the #1 spot but I'd welcome another week for 'Uptown Funk!' any day!
I'd love 'Im An Albatraoz' to take off and get the #1! Either way it needs to be this year's novelty dance song following '#SELFIE', 'I Love It', 'Bom Bom'/'Gangnam Style', 'Loca People' and 'We No Speak Americano'. |

I think AronChupa will be the one to knock Uptown Funk off.

I'm voting 9 weeks until Ellie Goulding, a few in there like AronChupa & The Avener have #1 potential but I don't think they've gotten the support to do so without being pushed back, and I don't expect some huge OA/OS release at this time of the year. (I hope so though)
In case Ellie gets pushed back or something Cheerleader should be able to do it the week after. |

I voted for 10 weeks by accident, I meant 9 weeks (made a little mistake with my calculations)
I also think love me like you do will knock it off but I hope Meghan and Fergie will and both have a little chance |

The AronChupa track is alright, but its a bit like marmite to me, could be a dark horse. Something else is bound to crawl out of the woodwork, unless an old track appears from the Voice auditions. |

I wouldn't be surprised if Ne-Yo manages to get to #1 with his new song, so I'll say 8 weeks, unless there's a surprise release.
Also, there's singles from Kelly Clarkson/Leona Lewis/Rihanna/Adele coming up soonish I believe. Plus I'm sure there are some others I'm missing out. Edit: Wait isn't Meghan a shoe-in for #1 with "Lips Are Moving"? The pre-order is #88 already with a week to go and it's doing really well on streaming - so it could only be 5 weeks. I think Lips Are Movin can still get there (despite it struggling a little on pre-orders atm). I see L.A.Love reaching #1 on iTunes once it's out, and i'd say there's a slight chance of getting there officially
I'm An Albatraoz will undoubtedly be a BIG contender for #1 at some point, though there's every chance they'll just keep pushing the release date back due to lack of radioplay at the moment (though I doubt it'll even need much radio support to really take off)~ |

Eight weeks I think. Love it to be AronChupa but I can see it being Sheppard that knocks off Mark and Bruno (either that or gooddelta being one of about three Buzzjackers I know IRL is warping my mind)

If Meghan can't do it, I say it'll stay there until Ellie's released (that is most definitely a 100% certain #1). AronChupa might be a long running top 5 hit or climb there at a later stage?

I thought Meghan would knock it off, but it's struggling on pre-orders and I'm not feeling any hype for it at all, if Uptown Funk is still selling 100k+ then, then I can't see her matching that.
Unless something comes out of the blue, I'm gonna say 8 weeks because I feel some of those songs out on the 9th of February could stand a chance of number 1 (Ne-Yo most likely, but Charli XCX/Imagine Dragons could maybe challenge too), and if not, I'm certain Ellie Goulding will knock it off the week after. 5 weeks? I think.
But I haven't really taken into account the competition for future weeks: |

At the moment, I think uptown Funk will *just* pip Meghan off from the top spot. It'll likely stay there until Ellie.
