It's lit. Also advance notice that my next entry is the least lit track out of the 100 or so I've already entered but I mean that in an entirely positive way. Except perhaps my cover of John Cage's 4'33". That also wasn't very lit. |

^ I absolutely didn't send the track I was thinking.
The original is a classic but this live version is less well-known and yet an improvement. The first half has been spruced up whereas everything after 7:20 is basically a new track altogether. |

I updated the first post and made a playlist of the 96 of my 103 main + spin off entries that are on Spotify. Mostly done for my own benefit of course, but the link is here.
Orbital was my 100th entry but I didn't realise at the time oops. |

Can't believe they retired before completing their chill, tropical indie -> PC music transition as, at this pace, they would now be collabing with Sophie were they still around. |

I got bored of waiting for the thread so here we go:
It's my most wholesome (that melody!!) entry since Animal Collective's Banshee Beat this time last year but it's also quite subtle so it's the most sure since then I've been of DNQing too. Except AnCo didn't. So idk. |

In the video they are not brother and sister mourning after a dying grandparent.
Do not make the mistake that I did in the first two minutes. This post has been edited by Harve: 18th November 2019, 10:34 PM |

The melody in the pre-chorus of this is reminding me so heavily of another song that I can't put my finger on and it's annoying me. I want to say it's a 90s indie song but I'm not sure. Also if I ever figure out what it is it'll likely turn out to be only vaguely similar but still.
(great song though, may actually be my fave thing I've heard from How To Dress Well) |

So yeah it's cool that Four Tet has finally been entered by someone x (I preferred 'Lahaina Noon' from this EP but 'Anna Painting' is a good tune too).

I prefer almost anything else he released in 2017-2019... where is the “Only Human” representation? Or the beautiful “Two Thousand and Seventeen” ? : (

This billingual electropop ditty and my first Glasgow entry in over four years is dedicated to the renewed post-Brexit Franco-Scottish auld alliance. |
