The breezy Canyon Moon drops out first, much to Whoddy's inevitable disappointment! Harry's dubbed Canyon Moon as “Crosby, Stills, and Nash on steroids," and lyrically talks about a happy moment from the past while yearning to return home. It's Stevie Nicks' favourite track on the album!
I knew it So underappreciated! It's a lovely, breezy bop.
I have completely nicked those gorgeous graphics off HSDaily on Twitter so thanks to them btw x
Canyon Moon has such a great summer vibe! It's not the worst on the album to me, though I wouldn't have it much higher either.
Definitely the weakest track on the album for me (although it's a toss-up between that and Cherry sometimes), so not sad to see it finish last.
Cherry to depart soon please x
The weakest out first is a good sign for future results.
11 7.31 To Be So Lonely
I'd walk through fire for you: WhoOdyssey, Cara (8.5)
We're not talking lately: HausofGhibli (5)
To Be So Lonely drops out next, and is one of three songs in the rate not to get a 10 or 11. The Genius biography for the song suggests the track "resembles a drunk phone call" from someone in denial about the end of a relationship, following themes of anger in Cherry and depression in Falling, hinted by Harry not accepting any blame in the lyrics.
Not sad to see that out either oops, it’s alright but not essential!
I really love that thing Harry did in this song: After "Falling", the next song on the album is 'To Be So Lonely' and he is singing right away: "Don't blame me for falling". I love when the album is telling the story and the songs are connected to each other. Sad to see it's being so low in the rating.
10 7.41 Cherry
I'd walk through fire for you: WhoOdyssey, ...ready for it (10)
We're not talking lately: StupidLove (4)
coucou x
Track 5 sees Harry take the mood of the album down a notch. Cherry is openly about Harry's previous relationship with Camille Rowe, who features at the end of the song in a voice note. Harry said that he wanted to be "true" to the break-up and discuss it openly in this song.
These results are going well and pretty much as expected *.*
Sunflower, Vol. 6 to be out next please x
9 7.50 She
I'd walk through fire for you: Calum (9.5)
We're not talking lately: StupidLove (4)
The 6 minute She sees Harry contemplating on having a "type" but not knowing who could fit his description. Harry's confessed that he, Mitch Rowland and the team were "on mushrooms" when they first laid the groundwork for this song :') He's called it one of his top 3 tracks on the album, clearly Buzzjack doesn't agree...!
Well that's just unacceptable. Definitely one of the strongest on the album!
8 8.00 Fine Line
I'd walk through fire for you: Cara, blacksquare (10)
We're not talking lately: Slick (6)
Eighth place appropriately lands an average of exactly 8! It's the closing track, and the album's title track, Fine Line. Clocking in as the longest song on the album, Fine Line slows the tempo down after Treat People With Kindness to present a rousing track tying the various positive and negative themes present on the album together, talking about finding the balance between the highs and lows of love and life. Harry's said that if he had to pick only one song from the album to listen to every day, it would be this!
Well that's... a choice placing for that x
Fine Line is a great song, and a perfect way to close the album.
I think it's probably about the right place, which says more about the quality of the album than anything else!
If Sunflower, Vol. 6 isn't out next there's no justice x
I find 'Fine Line' to be quite dreary.
I really like 'Sunflower' so I'm glad that's still in.
7 8.16 Sunflower, Vol. 6
I'd walk through fire for you: Josh! (10)
We're not talking lately: HausofGhibli (6)
Just missing out on the top half of the album is the bright and breezy Sunflower, Vol. 6. The track sees Harry comparing the good memories of his failed relationship to a sunflower - they're positive, but they don't last forever, so he's trying to immortalise them in a song and struggling (god, where would we be without Genius? x). It got a 10 from Josh, and Haus' score of 6 is comfortably the lowest, everyone else gave it 7.5+!
Higher than it should be tbh x
Expecting Treat People With Kindness out next (difficult to predict where everything from now on is gonna end up though )
6 8.31 Treat People With Kindness
I'd walk through fire for you: JosephStyles, Calum, WhoOdyssey (10)
We're not talking lately: Nick F1, blacksquare (6)
Squeezing into the top half is one final moment of joy in the album tracklist, the penultimate song Treat People With Kindness. The gospel-tinged anthem was inspired by Harry's slogan, which was used on merchandise where profits went to charity over his first tour. The slogan has become synonymous with Harry, even inspiring the "https://doyouknowwhoyouare.com/" website that launched with Lights Up. Harry always wanted to write a song with the same title and was inspired to take the plunge by Jeff Bhasker.
Expected that! Such a great, feel-good song
Justice for Canyon Moon! Probably my favourite track of his overall now
A very high standard Top 5 awaits.
Give us the top 5 bitch
Oops going on holiday threw me off entirely
Resuming this weekend x

The highest non-single on the album is the opening track, Golden. Setting a breezy, summery tone, Golden speaks of the "highs and ultimate fears one experiences during the Honeymoon Phase of a new and bright relationship" (thanks again Genius x). It's also the highest song not to receive a score of 10, and of course leaves the four singles as our top 4. Which will drop first?
4 8.69 Falling
I'd walk through fire for you: Dexton, Calum, HausofGhibli, Jay (11)
We're not talking lately: WhoOdyssey (5)
The lowest placed single is single 3, Falling. The track is a heartfelt ballad, performed by Harry at the BRIT Awards in February. When describing the track, Harry said "I had started to feel myself becoming someone I didn’t want to be, and that was really hard." He wrote the song with Kid Harpoon after coming out of the shower, and it took only 20 minutes. The track peaked at #15 in the UK and is currently certified gold, approaching 500k sales.
DISGUSTING x
Falling is by far the best song on the album (happy to see Golden top 5 too!)
with so many good songs left its hard to predict which makes any result now kinda like a oh crap moment as falling is great.
3 9.00 Lights Up
I'd walk through fire for you: JosephStyles, Josh! (11)
We're not talking lately: WhoOdyssey (6.5)
The lead single drops out in third place! The release of Lights Up was announced just hours before on Instagram, though teased by ambiguous posters around the world. Lights Up debuted alongside a raunchy video, with Harry among a crowd of near-naked people. Still the highest charting single from the era in the UK, Lights Up soared to a #3 debut here and a top 20 debut in the US, where it was never promoted as a full single. With the track's release on National Coming Out Day, many fans saw the lyrics as hints about Harry's own sexuality, of which he's refused to label.
I agree with Golden being the highest non single a brilliant opener.
I still think Lights Up is my personal favourite though. Falling is about right now. Watermelon Sugar was my least favourite single initially but it’s really grown over time so I wouldn’t mind to see that win!
he really is going to find it hard to top this album.
2 9.63 Watermelon Sugar
I'd walk through fire for you: Nick F1, pippa, StupidLove, Cara, Slick (11)
We're not talking lately: George.keh (5)
Originally released as a promotional single to coincide with Harry's hosting and performance slot on Saturday Night Live, Watermelon Sugar later became the fourth single from Fine Line. The track went on to peak at #4 in the UK, still residing in the top 10 right now, and the fans took it all the way to become Harry's first #1 on the Hot 100. The track was originally teased by a cryptic tweet: "Kiwi walked so Watermelon Sugar could run." Lyrically, the song speaks of the excitement when you start to fall for someone, recalling the summer.
1 9.78 Adore You
I'd walk through fire for you: George.keh, ...ready for it, Feel_The_Fever (11)
We're not talking lately: StupidLove (7.5)
Second single Adore You came out a week before the album, entering at #11 in the UK and later going on to peak at #7, spending five non-consecutive weeks in the top 10. Despite what looks like an oddly low peak, Adore You has spent more weeks in the top 40 than not just every other Harry single, but also every other One Direction-adjacent single - group or solo! The track was promoted with a series of posters around the world, as well as via the fictional land of Eroda, the setting of its infamous music video. The track is self-explanatory - it's Harry confessing his love for his significant other, and what he'd do to prove it.

Thank you all for rating + following along!
Great winner
Would have preferred Falling of the four singles, but can't win 'em all Watermelon Sugar and Lights Up both incredible too, so can't really deny the top 3.
Thanks for hosting Joseph
Watermelon Sugar so close to winning.
'Watermelon Sugar' would probably win future rates I imagine, it'll go down as a classic.
I disagree with the winner. 'Watermelon Sugar' is the best thing anybody from One Direction has put their name to, ever, and should be regarded as such.
Now I've finally heard this... my album track highlights are definitely 'She' and 'Sunflower, Vol. 6' so I'm glad both avoided bottom 3!
'Watermelon Sugar' is my favourite Harry song in general so add me to the list of people who would've preferred that outcome. I promise to support it in future rates x
