150 Ashlee Simpson - Pieces Of Me [2004]
UK Chart Run: {04}-14-18-22-23-28-35->07

First of three Ashlee Simpson songs, her debut was a nice enough song with a very strong chorus in my opinion and her debut album was pretty much FLAWLESS, seriously pretty much any song off of it could have been a single. It's a shame she's so overlooked because of that stupid SNL performance, she's actually one of my favourite artists which I should probably be ashamed to admit but I'm not! kink.gif

149 P. Diddy ft. Nicole Scherzinger - Come To Me [2006]
UK Chart Run: 30-{04}-05-07-13-20-24-31-39->09

For me, it's P Diddy's best song by far except for the amazing 'I'll Be Missing You' which was from last decade. It's just so catchy and Nicole actually adds something to it I feel, sounds perfect in a club as well. It's a shame that not many people remember it now though, strangely I think 'Last Night' is probably more well remembered now! Oh and Nicole's middle eight on this is amazingess. wub.gif

148 Sugababes - Easy [2006]
UK Chart Run: 30-{08}-16-30->04

I can't believe just how underrated this is, especially as far as Sugababes songs go! mellow.gif It's easily one of their best in my opinion, the production on it is so slick and the lyrics are so cheeky but pretty good too. The chorus is just fabulous too and I really wish the girls would've done more stuff like this, it's a real shame this song seemingly went over so many people's heads as it's a right little jem.

147 Ciara ft. Missy Elliott - One, Two Step [2006]
UK Chart Run: {03}-06-07-07-11-21-29-38->08

The first of three Ciara songs to appear on the countdown, this always gets me dancing and it just sounded so fresh at the time. wub.gif It brings back great memories of my prom as well and when it came on everyone did the one two step dance they do in the video haha. A really great and fun RnB/Pop song that Missy Elliott actually adds something to!

146 Britney Spears - My Prerogative [2004]
UK Chart Run: {03}-07-15-26-35-X-35-40->07

Britney is the most featured artist in my countdown! And this kicks off the start of her entries which is an amazing cover and I remember being absolutely addicted to it and at the time, the 'controversial' video. It also brings back great memories of when I was REALLY into the charts and this went against Xtina/Alicia Keys/Destiny's Child/Jamelia ... only for Eminem to come out on top. :/ But yes, a fantastic song and cover <3

150 Ashlee Simpson - Pieces Of Me [2004]
UK Chart Run: {04}-14-18-22-23-28-35->07

Good song. Not amazing, but it was a nice enough debut.

149 P. Diddy ft. Nicole Scherzinger - Come To Me [2006]
UK Chart Run: 30-{04}-05-07-13-20-24-31-39->09

Along with the likes of 'The Way I Are', 'Umbrella' and 'Last Nite' (The other Diddy song tongue.gif) etc. This is one of my most favourite R&B songs, ever! wub.gif

148 Sugababes - Easy [2006]
UK Chart Run: 30-{08}-16-30->04

YESSSS! I agree! It's my second favourite Sugababes song. (Behind 'About You Now' obviously tongue.gif) That Top 40 run for it is awful though. Not deserved at all! sad.gif

147 Ciara ft. Missy Elliott - One, Two Step [2006]
UK Chart Run: {03}-06-07-07-11-21-29-38->08

Another classic! wub.gif Along with 'Work' and 'Oh' this is one of my faves from her wub.gif

146 Britney Spears - My Prerogative [2004]
UK Chart Run: {03}-07-15-26-35-X-35-40->07

Any Britney will get a thumbs up from me. I actually thought this was a very decent cover. Probably one of my fave covers. wub.gif

5 out of 5 so far Jack! biggrin.gif - Expected nothing less though TBH, seeing as our tastes are practically the same LOL.

I suspect there will be about 6 PCD songs LOL tongue.gif

Jack!

148 Sugababes - Easy [2006]
UK Chart Run: 30-{08}-16-30->04

Gosh, what a flop! ohmy.gif Really underrated, and probably one of my fave 'Babes songs smile.gif

147 Ciara ft. Missy Elliott - One, Two Step [2006]
UK Chart Run: {03}-06-07-07-11-21-29-38->08

Ooh, I still love this! heart.gif My mum still has it as her phone ringtone rotf.gif

146 Britney Spears - My Prerogative [2004]
UK Chart Run: {03}-07-15-26-35-X-35-40->07

Probably on of my favourite Britney songs. smile.gif I still love it, and it was great to launch a GH heart.gif

145 Charlotte Church - Crazy Chick [2005]
UK Chart Run: {02}-04-05-08-11-14-19-32-38->09

The first of two from Charlotte Church on my countdown. I always thought her pop album was a really good one and I adored her debut single at the time and I still do! It brings back great memories of that summer, such a great feel good pop song. I'd love to see Charlotte go back to doing pop music although I'm not sure how successful she would really be. sad.gif

144 Madonna - Hung Up [2005]
UK Chart Run: {01}-01-01-03-02-04-08-03-03-07-14-13-18-17-16-20-26-32->18

The only song from Madonna to appear on my countdown. Definetly one of Madonna's best, I think she's best suited to this kind of music to be honest instead of the cringetastic 'Hard Candy'. This is such a great dance/pop song and one of the few Madonna songs I actually love. 'Sorry' also came close to making this countdown however.

143 Natasha Bedingfield - Single [2004]
UK Chart Run: {03}-07-11-17-23-27-36->07

The first of three from Ms Bedders on my countdown. wub.gif She seems to have taken a downfall recently with the pretty awful 'Love Like This' and now looking back at it, 'I Wanna Have Your Babies' too. sad.gif This was a great feel good pop song and the perfect song to launch her career I think, I remember when everyone would say 'I'm single and that's how I wanna be' ... well maybe just me and some friends anyway lol. tongue.gif

142 Leona Lewis - Better In Time [2008]
UK Chart Run: 38-23-{02}-03-06-07-08-12-15-17-27-29-37->13

One of my favourite Reality TV show winners ever, even if I am disappointed in 'Happy'. This song was always my initial favourite off of 'Spirit', I can relate to the lyrics so well too and of course her voice shines on it as it always does.

141 Fergie - Fergalicious [2006]
UK Chart Run: DNQ

I alctually preffered Fergie's solo material to BEP's at the time, her album was suprisingly very strong too. This was always one of the highlights from her and I remember being so annoyed that it wasn't released properly in the UK for whatever reason, it would've been huge! Such a fun party song and was an anthem with me and my friends, still love it to this day. <3

Technically it was a DNQ. I'm sure it sold enough to chart but was back in the days when you needed a physical to be able to chart. kink.gif

'Fergalicious' is a tune, 'Crazy Chick' really grew on me too.

140 Liberty X - Song 4 Lovers [2005]
UK Chart Run: {05}-08-09-10-14-25-39->07

One of Liberty X's best ever! Seriously amazing and underrated song too, was very different to their previous material too. Have always been a big Liberty X fan and own all of their albums! teresa.gif Always thought they made really good pop songs.

139 Gwen Stefani ft. Akon - The Sweet Escape [2007]
UK Chart Run: 23-10-08-07-03-{02}-02-04-03-03-06-10-11-14-18-25-30-34-40->19

Easily Gwen Stefani's best solo song and the best thing Akon's ever been involved in ... well that's if you don't count 'Just Dance'. Brings back memories of my trip to LA with college, such a good pop song, she really should've led with it rather than 'Wind It Up' ... which I still loved but was probably a bit TOO quirky for a lead single really.

138 Beyoncé ft. Jay-Z - Crazy In Love [2003]
UK Chart Run: {01}-01-01-02-05-10-12-16-19-25-36-35-40->13

Okay, so I generally despise Beyonce, there's far better RnB female singers out there than her yet she seems to get bummed like she's some sort of god, but I can't deny that this is pretty much a classic now and reminds me of Summer in general so much. The beat was so fresh and summery at the time too, it may be slightly overrated but unlike other Beyoncé songs with good reason!

137 Sugababes - Push The Button [2005]
UK Chart Run: {01}-01-01-02-03-05-09-16-15-21-29-35-X-19-23-25-37->15

Another one from the Sugas. I think there's five more to come! ohmy.gif Probably not the ones you would expect though, anyway this is obviously one of my favourites from the Sugas although I do go through phases of loving and just liking this song ... I was initially disappointed when I first heard it even! I now love it and the video is so simple yet oh so effective that made me like it even more!

136 Kelis - Milkshake [2004]
UK Chart Run: 03-{02}-02-02-02-04-05-11-15-23-25-30->12

It's become a bit of a novelty song now I think but I still love it and it's a great song to dance to drunkenly haha. wub.gif Brings back great memories of school in general as well, in fact I think I loved all of her songs from her 'Tasty' era.

love all of those, particularly Song 4 Lovers which has already featured in my 'longlist' and would have been around the same mark had I stretched my chart out to a top 150 biggrin.gif

The Sweet Escape is fantastic, although I adored Wind It Up, and thought it was a very original choice of lead, surprised it went top 3 in the UK though!

Damn you and your Beyonce hating lol. Crazy In Love is stunning though.

Sweet Escape I liked but was never as crazy about as most people were. Same for Milkshake and Push The Button I guess

Song 4 Lovers was good however id say Liberty X had at least 6 or 7 better songs

145 Charlotte Church - Crazy Chick [2005]
UK Chart Run: {02}-04-05-08-11-14-19-32-38->09

Good pop song. Not overly crazy about it, but it's good. 'Moodswings (To Come At Me Like That)' was better kink.gif

143 Natasha Bedingfield - Single [2004]
UK Chart Run: {03}-07-11-17-23-27-36->07

Meh. Never really rated this much. I think I preferred every other track on 'Unwritten' actually...

142 Leona Lewis - Better In Time [2008]
UK Chart Run: 38-23-{02}-03-06-07-08-12-15-17-27-29-37->13

SNAP! It was always my initial fave from 'Spirit' too! wub.gif But now I prefer 'Take A Bow'. But I still love this tongue.gif

141 Fergie - Fergalicious [2006]
UK Chart Run: DNQ

This is an odd song. I hate it, but I love it at the same time.

140 Liberty X - Song 4 Lovers [2005]
UK Chart Run: {05}-08-09-10-14-25-39->07

Amazing pop song. Never was a fan of Liberty X, but this song was just... wub.gif

139 Gwen Stefani ft. Akon - The Sweet Escape [2007]
UK Chart Run: 23-10-08-07-03-{02}-02-04-03-03-06-10-11-14-18-25-30-34-40->19

I like this. Although both acts have had better imo.

138 Beyoncé ft. Jay-Z - Crazy In Love [2003]
UK Chart Run: {01}-01-01-02-05-10-12-16-19-25-36-35-40->13

Meh. Never been fussed about this song. Generally overrated I think.

137 Sugababes - Push The Button [2005]
UK Chart Run: {01}-01-01-02-03-05-09-16-15-21-29-35-X-19-23-25-37->15

Definately one of the 'babes best. Didn't like it at all when I first heard it though. Then out of nowhere it hit me wub.gif

Great chart so far Jack! thumbup.gif Although Kelis 'Milkshake' is horrifically overrated puke.gif, and 'Hung Up'/Madonna in general is crap. sad.gif

135 Gwen Stefani - What You Waiting For? [2004]
UK Chart Run: {04}-08-11-10-12-14-11-12-15-17-29->11

Okay, so I kind of contradicted myself when I said 'The Sweet Escape' was the best thing she's done, clearly it's this. wub.gif Amazing debut single, very creative too I thought. The amazing video also helped me appreciate it greatly, her L.A.M.B. album was one of my best of that year too.

134 Beyoncé - Irreplaceable [2006]
UK Chart Run: 14-05-{04}-05-05-06-06-07-14-20-17-15-24-23-25-29-36->17

The last of the Beyoncé entries on my countdown and obviously her best in my opinion. Such an uplifting song,it might not have deserved something ridiculous like 10 weeks at #01 in the US but it's still an amazing song.

133 Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending [2004]
UK Chart Run: {05}-08-09-16-28-31->06

By FAR Avril Lavigne's best song ever. wub.gif I actually hated her in her 'Complicated' era, especially that godawful 'Sk8r Boi' song sick2.gif . But this is fantastic, pop/rock at it's best and showed she really progressed as a artist too. Her only entry in my chart.

132 Ashlee Simpson - Boyfriend [2006]
UK Chart Run: {12}-15-23-38->04

Talking of pop/rock at it's best, this is definetly another great example of it. Fantastic yet slightly underrated song ... maybe because it's Ashlee sad.gif. But yeah, I love it and was absolutely addicted to it at the time.

131 Missy Elliott - Gossip Folks [2003]
UK Chart Run: {09}-16-20-21-25-29-39->07

Always been a big fan of Missy and this is definetly one of her best singles to date, in fact I think this album was probably her best era! The remix on the video and the video itself made me love it even more as well. wub.gif

135 Gwen Stefani - What You Waiting For? [2004]
UK Chart Run: {04}-08-11-10-12-14-11-12-15-17-29->11

Hmmm... This song, sometimes I hate it, sometimes I like it...

134 Beyoncé - Irreplaceable [2006]
UK Chart Run: 14-05-{04}-05-05-06-06-07-14-20-17-15-24-23-25-29-36->17

AMAZING song! Definately one of her best! May or may not appear in my R&B Top 50 of the decade countdown kink.gif

133 Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending [2004]
UK Chart Run: {05}-08-09-16-28-31->06

LOOOOVE Avril. This is definately of the highlights from her career. (Along with 'Nobody's Home' & 'Runaway' imo) wub.gif

132 Ashlee Simpson - Boyfriend [2006]
UK Chart Run: {12}-15-23-38->04

Again, like Gwen, sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't... She's had better
