The bias in this is disgusting. Clearly a staged poll to satisfy Shapne's demands.

26 (24) 4.9 Show You The Way To Go 25 (13) 5.2 Coconut 24 (26) 5.4 Love's On Every Corner In bottom place we have the first single from Dannii's second album. Get Into You. A cover fo a Jackson 5 song, it made the top 30 in the UK btu missed the top 100 in Australia. Coconut was originally intended for the 1995 album that remained unreleased until a short time ago. A more unhinged version appeared on Girl and became a single, hitting #62 in Aus. Love's On Every Corner is another Get Into You single and faired slightly poorer than SYTWTG, only going to #44 in the UK. It was never released in Australia. |

Wow 'Coconut' has had a big drop since the last rate, not surprising really as it is very forgettable. 'Show You The Way To Go' & 'Love's On Every Corner' are both pretty bad and incredibly dated like most of her early 90's stuff.
Who in the hell thought that it was a good idea to have those as the lead singles, even back then I doubt they were considered strong enough, and looking at their chart performances, I was right. 'This Is It' was the only decent song from that era. I predict 'Get Into You' will be one of the next to drop out here. |

23 (18) 5.8 He's The Greatest Dancer 22 (20) 6.1 I Don't Wanna Take This Pain 21 (23) 6.5 Baby Love Two singles from Dannii's debut album drop out. I Don't Wanna Take This Pain was the only single from that album not to be on her Greatest Hits CD, hitting #40 in the UK and 92 in Uastralia it's not hard to see why. Baby Love was orginally one of my singles but Danni covered it and made it mor epoppy. Hitting 14 in the UK and 26 in Aus, it fared better than the original. He's The Greatets Dancer comes from Club Disco and was intended to be the Children In Need Single, mainly down to Dannii signing on for Strictly, but all that changed when she got the job on X-factor so she was replaced with Emma Bunton. The single didn't chart here but went top 40 in Australia. |

Huh actually forgot that 'I Don't Wanna Take This Pain' was there, otherwise I would have predicted that to drop next, just goes to show how forgettable it is, definitely the weakest single from her debut album. 'Baby Love' is fine enough piece of early 90's pop fluff that has aged rather badly now and not something I go back to when listening to Hits & Beyond.
I don't mind 'He's The Greatest Dancer', a really good cover in my opinion and totally works as a dance song, also I don't think it was actually released in the UK, got cancelled when it was replaced as the Children In Need single, and therefore only released in Australia. |

Aw, I'm quite liking 'Show You the Way to Go' on first listen. The initial production quickly grabbed my attention but I was anticipating not to like it when the vocal came in, thinking there must be a reason it's in last place, but I enjoyed it all!
The Girl version of 'Coconut' is so batshit crazy, I actually love it!! All the others are forgettable. Didn't know what you meant about you singing 'Baby Love' originally at first! |

20 (16) 6.6 $ucce$$ Dannii's second single from her debut album is the first in the top 20 in this countdown. Just missing out on the top 10 in the UK, it was kept out by sister Kylie. It got to #28 in Australia. The song has a bit of an American feel to it and Dannii even has a rap-sort of moment in it. |

19 (14) 6.7 Love & Kisses And now to the song that kicked it all off for Dannii. Her debut single was released back in 1991. A pretty decent hit, it went top 5 in Australia, getting to #4, while it was a top 10 in the UK, reaching #8. It was actually her only top 10 in her native Australia. It features the iconic line "We ain't at McDonald's baby, what's your beef?" |

I like '$ucce$$'! A lot moreso than 'Love and Kisses'.

I've grown to really like Success, one of her better pre Girl songs.

Surprised that 'Success' is higher than 'Love And Kisses', find the latter far more memorable, but both very much dated and both have aged quite badly, although both are still fun bops and very different to the sound she would later become more successful with.
'Jump To The Beat', 'Get Into You', or maybe 'I Can't Sleep At Night' may drop next. |

18 (21) 6.9 I Can't Sleep At Night Another one of the many Club Disco songs. This was randomly made a single in 2007 but failed to chart anywhere. One of the weaker songs form that era it's no wonder really. Nice video though. |

17 (17) 6.9 This Is The Way One of her early singles, and an overlooked one as it missed being on Hits & Beyond. This Get Into You song got to 27 in the UK and 45 in Australia, faring better than the first two singles from the album but not as well as This Is It. |

'This Is The Way' is a real gem out of her early discography, particularly the extended version.

16 (19) 7.14 Jump To The Beat The last of the singles from Love & Kisses to appear here. Originally a big hit for Stacy Lattisaw, Dannii covered it and it became a slightly big hit too. It missed the top 40 in Australia peaking at 48 but it became a top 10 for her in the UK, hitting #8. The song also appears to be a favourite of Kylie if this clip suggests anything |

15 (22) 7.18 Get Into You The 5th and final single from the album of the same name, Get Into You had more of a rockier edge to it compared to other songs from the album and indeed her whole career. It got to 79 in Australia but made the top 40 in the UK, peaking at 36. The song fared much better in this rate than the previous which is good cause I love this song. |

I loved the trance remixes of I Can't Sleep At Night but the original was so dull it's no wonder it flopped. Plus they took ages to release it
