Paris St-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe will miss the Champions League quarter-final with Atalanta in Lisbon on 12 August.

Mbappe, 21, sustained an ankle injury during the French Cup final against Saint-Etienne on Friday, ruling him out for three weeks.

The Irish Cup final between Glentoran and Ballymena United will be the first sporting/football event played in front of supporters since lockdown was lifted and will allow 500 supporters into the 18k capacity stadium.

If man united won the Europa league would Leicester get champions league as the winners get an automatic spot?

No they wouldn't, Leicester don't have any chance of getting Champions League football because they finished 5th. Wolves will qualify for the Champions League though if they win this season's Europa League.

According to Wikipedia it looks like it will be Rennes who finished 3rd in the French league who would get the spot because the French league is the 5th highest ranking league.

I think it used to but there was a rule change recently that means they no longer will. The Prem's webpage makes no mention of 5th getting the spot if a team in the top 4 win either the CL or EL

Ronald Koeman has been named the new head coach of Barcelona two days after the club sacked Quique Setien.

The 57-year-old left his role as Netherlands boss, with two years left on his contract, to sign a two-year deal with the Spanish giants.

He played for Barcelona between 1989 and 1995, helping them to four league titles and the European Cup.

Only reason there is his Barca links, not a great manager imo. Says a lot about how far Barca have fallen that they're resorting to Everton rejects.
