 thought i'd try and get some more convo / hype going ready for the results in a couple of days with a lil indie predictaaa. as with all predictas, don't necessarily expect points or results (unless it's like super pops) but i wanna know what you're all THINKIN. so here we go. it's only five questions so not too laborious ladies question one l what will the top ten look like? 01 l 02 l 03 l 04 l 05 l 06 l 07 l 08 l 09 l 10 l question two l which song will finish in last place? 31 l question three l who do you think sent the following songs? 00 l The Runaways - Cherry Bomb 00 l >HALOS< - Dust 00 l Ephera - Alaska 00 l r.e.l. - Plateau 00 l Future World Music - Aqua Vitae question four l which song did the following members send? 00 l Johnkm 00 l popchartfreak 00 l Ethan 00 l AntoineTTe 00 l 152chris question five l are you gonna turn up to the results or leave poor pop feeling like he wore track pants on a monday? |

I've always found UP IMPOSSIBLE to predict for some reason, I think the subtlety of most of the stuff and the general lack of discussion/hype anywhere really makes it hard for me to gauge how songs are going to be received.

Taking the plunge, probably going to be hilariously far out ~ None of the songs really screamed winner. A lot of my top 10 prediction is basically just my favourites oop

Obviously I can't guess - though that would be best chance of getting everything right using a pseudonym
 Loving the legion panel chris - my faves were Saturn Girl Matter-Eater Lad and Element Lad in those days.  Did you know: John Peel had a copy of a single by The Legion Of Super Heroes (band) in his Most Precious box of singles? Dream Girl had a musical named after her (sort of) Brainiac 5 has featured in songs. Karate Kid had his name rented for the movie franchise. Star Boy is rumoured to have a huge schlong in fandom, and Element Lad gay (he ended up with a literal transgender girlfriend). Shrinking Violet and Light Lass dumped their boyfriends eventually and hooked up together. |

Wow, this is really hard... Normally what I'd predict to be last turns out to be a top 5 contender and I'm the only one who doesn't 'get' it.

I dont enter BJSC so I can't compare but I like the level of discretion we have in UP. In fact, I'm the person who points out their favourites most. I should quit that. |

Bre's top 5 would be a travesty in my opinion. Too much sub-BJSC mush there.
Thank f*** somebody had the balls/lack of brains to enter Goat. No way it'll win but what a tune and the Where the Wild Things Are on acid video is great. |

I doubt my prediction will actually be anywhere near reality, the only song I'm quite sure will do well is 'Malachite'. It may just be the lack of discussion/'hype' but UP really is extremely difficult to call compared to BJSC.
