Mother Tongue releasing tomorrow! According to people who went to the album listening party, this is most like Follow You from TTS! (as in, it's quite anthemic) |

I know it's 'commercial', but "Medicine" might just be my favourite BMTH song to date. Really hoping it (and the album) get enough streams next week to give it the T40 position it deserves!

Class sounds psycheldelic or dancey, hope the album sells decently in week 1!

Absolutely incredible album! I'll post more thoughts later, but my faves are Mantra, Medicine, Heavy Metal, Sugar Honey Ice + Tea and Mother Tongue. They're all fantastic though!

Bunch of people in HMV today making fun of the fact that "amo" is in the Metal section . This album has a couple of good cuts, nowhere NEAR anything on "That's The Spirit" though.

Absolutely loving 'nihilist blues', even though it sounds literally nothing like a Bring Me The Horizon song (I know their sound has changed a lot over the years and they've always been pretty versatile but this is really out there for them even so).

Really falling for 'mother tongue' now as well, thought it was just ok on first listen but the chorus was sticking in my head and it's drawn me back and grown on me a lot, it has a pretty cute backstory behind it as well. 'nihilist blues' is now easily my favourite song to date from them though, would love to see them pursuing that sound further as it seems to really work for them!

Also here for nihilist blues, I'd originally downloaded because of the Grimes connection and I'm sure that's why I like it so much really but the BMTH bits are also great.

'nihilist blues' has got to be my song of the year so far - it's still clinging on at #1 in my personal chart what an utterly genius switch-up.
