Apparently Sheridan has been having costume fittings this week.

Maybe first photos won't be too far off.

Sheridan will be a guest on Jonathan Ross on 7th November.

Thanks BT.

Not keen on Jonathan Ross, would rather have Graham Norton.

On another forum someone mentioned.a song for Nick called Lullabye which was cut from the Broadway show because Sydney Chaplin wasn't up to singing it. Maybe that's the one being reinstated for Darius.

They said that it was - that's the extra song I'm looking forward to hearing. I like to see him act and if he's singing as well, that'd be perfect

There's another song called Temporary Arrangement which some say Styne wrote for the movie and others that it was written for the Broadway show. It wasn't written with Bob Merrill though.

I don't like it at all. Too wordy and to my ears the tune is boring wiith hardly any rise and fall. Sounds very dated.

It would be a miracle if Darius could make that one come alive!

I wonder how long Sheridan Smith is under contract for Funny Girl. Apparently she will be working on
a film 'The Huntsman' in the near future.

She has always said she has another job to go to. These runs are only to July and who knows when it'll move to the USA or if anyone will move with it

Qn the Ross show Sheridan Smith sang a short phrase.....her singing voice is soprano, should combine well with Darius.
But Christopher Stevens of the Daily Mail was not impressed by her interview.

Hope he buries his knives when he reviews the show.

Sheridan has a big vocal range. She just probably didn't expect or want to sing at that time. The review was for the Jonathon Ross show not 'Funny Girl' so I don't think that mood will spill over. I was not impressed with Jonathon either but then I hadn't expected to be as it's not something I enjoy. Those who like his style would proba bly love it - that's all that counts

Must admit I have to agree with him! I was really surprised because I like her. Sue
