I'll have 0 respect for both the show and any Markle if they go on piggybacking off Meghan's name I always hate these "signed up to dish the dirt on x" signings, the person isn't gonna spend 24/7 talking about whoever and earning their fee, I feel like a hell of a lot of the time they just flounder and end up being so disappointing. Look at Ray J given £800k or whatever it was, barely a peep about Kim K and he left after barely a week! People should be in there on their own personalities, I don't care if someone isn't an A list name if they have the personality to back it up and make great TV, but these people who are only on due to being connected to someone else to "dish the dirt" very rarely are worth it (Malika from the most recent series is probs one of the best and she hardly lit up the whole house).

Obviously it’s coming to the end of its current contract, the ratings are falling and Ben Frow has stated he doesn’t want the show on his channel. You don’t need ‘sources’ to say it is in danger. But until there’s an ifficial announcement, there’s no story there.

Also, the Daily Star said BOTS was being axed earlier this year which is bullshit

I can't see her going in properly, if they're only signing her up for 7 days she can't really be in the game properly (well I guess she could and just walk after 7 days but if they know that's happening what's the point), I think it's quite tedious to have her be a sort of Pamela Anderson type guest really The whole hype around her is her talking about Trump and she legally can't, I'm sure she's still a huge character but I'm not sure about her just being a sort of "twist" to mess with them a bit and go in and maybe shout at someone.

Samantha Mumba seemed pretty boring on Dancing On Ice iirc but that was 10 years ago and obviously you don't see a personality as much on a show like that, plus she went pretty quickly so you got even less of a chance to do so. They do normally have an Irish celeb though plus she fills the Loose Women quotient as she does that now.

So today fan sites went to Elstree studios for a meeting with the execs regarding the upcoming series of CBB. Here's some of what went on today and apparently there's more info to come.

Just out of the meeting with the #CBB #BBUK execs! To clear up one burning issue quickly - don't expect any live feed other than eviction nights!

Apparently there's another side to the #CBB eye, and we'll get to see it in the titles - which are neon, but not like the trailer #BBUK

The 'A Storm Unleashed' episode of #CBB on Friday 16th August is apparently not a live show, but there is something to stick around for #BBUK

Some good news about the upcoming civilian #BBUK housemates - they're actively trying to find new faces rather than media types and people from other reality shows

There will be no free APP voting

FYI, for those wondering, the 'Eye of the Storm' theme is mainly relating to the housemates - it doesn't mean they're going to do everything they can to be controversial #BBUK #CBB

Sounds like a good start, would be sod's law that the one time they get it right they have an awful cast that ruins it or something but we'll see. Just getting the actual format and series right is so much of the battle though, nominations not being f***ed about every single time is a great start.

Surely there is NO way they'd be desperate enough for Roxanne Pallett to give her what must be one of the biggest pay packets ever? Like, double what they paid Katie Price and Katie Hopkins for "that girl off Emmerdale ten years ago". I know she's doing radio stuff now and was in a successful theatre production last year, but that's gonna be all most people know her for. The only one I can think they paid more for is Ray J getting £800,000 (that we know of, I'm sure there are others with more but it seems to be more common nowadays that they report what people are paid).

Always liked her though, it'd be nice to see her on something like this.

Mess, I guess this shows they shouldn't go out of their way so much for a kiss and tell contestant. It would have great to see if she was worth it but for them to have built the entire launch night around someone they were going to pay one of the biggest fees ever for ONE week is betting too much on one contestant. Even the theme of a storm feels like the conjured it up her up for her if you think about it I mean first Ray J quitting after a few days when they paid him £800k because of the Kardashians, now this. I was looking forward to her because I think she'd likely have been a mess and brilliant viewing anyway but she wouldn't have been legally allowed to have said anything about Trump. God knows what the reason is but it feels like she's just a diva who wanted more money and is more trouble than she's worth.

CBB US had the right idea capitalising on Trump by getting Omarosa, and actually she said to Brandi Granville that she turned down CBB UK last year which was a shame as CBB US had political clout because of her. God knows how much they'd have to have paid to get her here though, more than channel 5 was willing to shell out I'm sure!

Overall, I was incredibly disappointed with the launch last night. There was 0% atmosphere and we were all bored at home. Let’s hope the series is a good one. Also definitely agree that was a really promising start for this series! There's so many interesting characters and potential for a lot to happen and you saw ripples of that tonight, I can't wait to see how things unfold. I think Roxanne and Hardeep could annoy the others as well as the obvious Rodrigo. Roxanne gives me slight Amelia Lily vibes from the last summer season except I hope she stays sweet and likable and a bit overexcited instead of being a bit of a snake and totally spineless like Amelia.

Still can't stand Hardeep though and Nick is the most hideously boring person he makes Dan and Jermaine look like Nikki Grahame on speed. I don't get why they're acting like he's some hero or legend for doing over a bank.

I think Roxanne has the potential to do a Sarah if people continue to call her fake etc and she unravels.

Natalie will either be 3rd/4th ala Tiffany/Renee or lay it on too thick and be out fairly shortly. Hopefully not the latter as this episode is the only one where she's come across poorly.

I am finding roxanne more fake in each episode, I wanted to like her but I can't. Natalie is good but I feel she is just out to pick a fight rather than a fight coming to get naturally if that makes sense. You can see its building in the house and divides are coming and it will kick off.

Can't think of her name as I'm typing this but the model who was kidnapped I'm not liking either, so far she is stand offish and a bit up herself.Ryan is flat so far so I'm hoping there is more to come from him. Kirsty is still my fave.

I’ve mixed feelings about it being Hardeep v Natalie!

Obviously they’re the biggest characters but, on the other hand, I do feel as though having it head to head brings back the EVENT of the live evictions that they’ve been missing for years now! It’s so great to have an actual structure back too rather than whoever the producers want to be up, whether that’s everyone with a nom, the three highest with a nom, the ones with 2 or more noms...

Hardeep has to go, Natalie is bringing drama but Hardeep is just patronising, agree for once with what Sally said that he knows he's intelligent and seems to use it against people.

It's a shame the two biggest characters are the only ones up though, I feel like this series might start strong but soon fall into a clique of bores. I mean they seem nice enough (in the house, notwithstanding Dan's past) but they're just SO boring. At least Roxanne is a bit of a laugh, the ladz just sit and talk and Gabby just moans all the time. I am glad for a vs though as Klaus says, it's such an event and a battle rather than the producers fiddling to make it obvious where someone boring goes. Either could go and it's gonna be interesting for sure!

I expect I'll be in the minority here but I'd much rather see Hardeep stay. He's the most interesting housemate right now and I think Natalie is being unnecessarily confrontational, particularly towards Hardeep, and I'm finding her quite unpleasant to watch. It's one thing not taking any shit, but she doesn't own it with sass or shine through in softer moments (see: Tiffany Pollard), she just YELLS.

I'm really liking Rodrigo too, I think there's a lot underneath his fake facade when you get to know him. He's going to go on a real journey to watch I think and could even be the 3rd or 4th placed fan fave.

I reckon they could get someone like Phi Phi as an addition - they did the same with Jess Cunningham after they liked her on BOTS. Another Bad Girl like Meghan who had been previously rumoured would be good but she's a lot more laid back than Natalie I feel.

Phi Phi would be incred, she was ofc a bitch on the show but I don't think she's as horrible as people think at the end of it all and best all she'd be super entertaining which we'll need regardless of this eviction's outcome. Apart from a drag queen, the mention of Neda reminds me an international BB guest would be probably top of my list of the type of people who haven't done it yet, that might be stretching "celebrity" but they have other reality stars and a lot of the superfans watch BBUS and BBCan.
