I'm disappointed by this. It's like a more bland version of 'Get Low' (which I liked.)

I loathed his first single but I'm actually really liking this! The production is really slick and smooth wub.gif

Here's the video, it's nothing special

Don't get the underperformance of this so far :'(

(or the hate for his 'brr brr', don't act like that isn't the best part of any song this year)

The underperformance is expected hence why his label have moved him to a jan release and its only 10 tracks. Plus he is literally EVERYWHERE.

Expected by who? Surely not his own label, or else why go with this song in the first place? They must have had some faith in the track. Also, the proposed January album release has been known about since a week in advance of Bedroom Floor's release (i.e. since early October). So it's not a kneejerk reaction to how this single has done.

Why would an underperformance of this track have any bearing on the number of tracks the album contains?

I really like it. I just don't think it translates as well as STD does when performed live, so it kind of becomes a problem when he's promoting it on shows and stuff.

His two solo singles have been pretty much as I expected from him and I love them. Im looking forward to the album!

His label would be mad to release an album around this time of year, there is just simply far too much going on and unless you have a massive hit or are an established star, the market will swallow you up. I like Bedroom Floor, but it's nowhere near as catchy as Strip that Down. Definitely needs a strong pop urban single for early January.

Plus has the track really underperformed? I kind of thought it was the in-thing now that a lot of tracks are slow growers once everything kicks in? Havana being a great example.
