Beyonce's Official Top 20 biggest songs in the UK revealed
28 June 2016 By Jack White She's been on the road with her latest album since April, but this month sees Beyonce's Formation tour finally hit UK soil and the beginning of the show's European leg. Obviously, the show includes plenty of songs from her latest offering Lemonade, but if you haven't seen the setlist yet (don't worry we won't spoil it for you), a generous smattering of her classics are also given an outing. Which got us thinking: which are Beyonce's biggest hits in the UK? She has 34 Top 40 hits to name, including five Number 1s and a further 13 Top 10s, but when physical and digital sales are combined with streaming plays, which Yoncé hit beats the rest? Before we reveal the full Top 20, let's take a closer look at the Top 5... 1. If I Were A Boy (2008) Serving as the trailer single from her third studio album I Am... Sasha Fierce, Bey played a NYPD police officer in the accompanying video, a perfect choice considering the Official Singles Chart was under her arrest when the track was released. The song patrolled the Top 10 for 10 weeks and hit Number 1 in its third week on the tally. With combined chart sales of 887,000, IIWAB is going to be a tough act to follow. 2. Halo The closest to clinch the crown from If I Were A Boy is Halo, I Am...'s third single Halo. Since its release it has become one of Beyonce's signature hits, often closing out her spectacular shows, sending everyone home on a feel-good note. It may have topped out at Number 4 on the Official Singles Chart in 2009, but its enduring popularity has seen it notch up a combined tally of 866,000 to become her second biggest single. 3. Single Ladies Proving the I Am... Sasha Fierce years really were as huge as you remember, the album's second release Single Ladies takes third place in her best sellers list. A track that still has everyone thinking they're the sassiest thing in the room after 8 pints at their baby cousin's christening, this party playlist staple has achieved 841,000 combined sales since it first hit the Official Chart at Number 8 in 2009. Rounding out Bey's Top 5 big ones are Telephone, her 2010 collab with Lady Gaga (757,000 total chart sales) and her debut single Crazy in Love (featuring Jay Z), which has accumulated 748,000 combined sales over all formats. Her other love-themed Jay Z duet Drunk In Love is Yonce's sixth biggest single, while her most recent entry on the list is her 2015 feature on Naughty Boy's Runnin' (Lose It All). Two more Jay Z hook-ups - Deja Vu and 03 Bonnie & Clyde - enter the Top 20 at 17 and 18, and Baby Boy, Mrs. Carter's classic get-together with Sean Paul, squeezes in at 19. Beyonce's most recent entry on the Official Singles Chart Hold Up sits just outside the Top 20 at 24. Finally, for those wondering, if Beyonce was credited on Coldplay's Hymn for the Weekend (she's sadly not, robbing her of a 19th Top 10 single) then that track would crash the Top 10 at Number 10. Beyoncé’s full Official Top 20 biggest singles are... I know we have a Beyonce AF (I'll post this in there too) but I thought I'd post here so that all chart fans can see.

Surprised not to see any from her latest release in that chart.
How far down the list is her debut single Work It Out from the Austin Powers movie? |

Sometimes the OCC include streams, and sometimes they don't. Confusing as hell

I assume Halo will trickle itself ahead of If I Were a boy sooner or later. Speaking of, that song seems forgotten to a point. She never performs it anymore even and I love it!

Seems crazy that 7/11 is above Deja Vu and two No.2 singles! The Sasha Fierce era was her big a-list 'popstar' moment I guess, hence the huge singles, whereas now she's more a-list artistic, if that makes any sense.

QUOTE her debut single Crazy in Love (featuring Jay Z) Work It Out was released in 2002, and was definitely a Beyoncé single. |

The one that springs to mind for me as Beyoncé's 'biggest song' is 'Crazy In Love', guess that just suffered compared to those higher by being in a poor sales climate.

Indeed, but it's come a long way from the mere 261k it sold in 2003! Would love it to eventually become her, deserved, best seller. |
