Australia 2024 Electric Fields One Milkali (One Blood) Dami Im was heavily rumoured a while ago to be the representative but the claims were apparently refuted: https://www.aussievision.net/post/dami-im-s...BCg1TOFbqThkEVs Who do you think will represent Australia? |

It is indeed, the entry has leaked and it’s… not good
It’s really giving like UK/Danish/other iffy country that doesn’t quite know what they’re doing’s delegation in 2017 or so going “this is so fun it’s really Eurovision!” And it comes 25th with 9 points, it’s a DNQ I feel lmao |

I thought the same, it feels like a potential last placer in that stacked semi. Glad Ireland has more of a chance now, at least.
That's the issue with selecting an artist, not a song. Because they had a very solid entry in 2019 that came second to Kate, but I doubt this would have come anywhere near the top of a national final. |

Semi 1 is shaping up to be the most front loaded semi in history.

fairly forgettable songs and possibly Australia's weakest entry to date.

I'm getting Justin Timberlake in places and the chorus robs its hook from Rolling in the Deep.
The piano sound is one of the cheapest I've heard in a long time. |

I like the chants.
Honestly I think that could look good on stage. Perhaps not enough to qualify and it is hilarious how the first half of Semi 1 all feel like Qs and the second half almost all feel like NQs but I don't think I'd count it out immediately, it's got a lovely feel to it. |

The songs in question lack a lasting resonance and fail to leave an indelible impression, potentially positioning this as Australia's most underwhelming and lackluster entry in the competition thus far. It's a solid 4/10 for me.

Love that this song has aboriginal elements but the overall package is rather dull unfortunately 6/10 for me!
