Just announced on her facebook

Announced on her Facebook: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5w0tDjzbRQ
The july issue of "Marie Claire" says that the single is out now so we may get the song in the next couple of days.
Where's dat album doe?
SJ featuring Pitbull SLAY
Excite
Love her so hopefully this will be good
Single cover:
Out july 17.
Tragic
Tragic.
Tragic
Don't think Tragic is a strong enough word tbh.
They made her look like her hairline resided to the 2nd half of her scalp
She better release the album cover soon, before I create my own and replace the single cover with that
OH GOD
Young Foolish Happy teas tbh
Blew the budget on Pitbull.
Tho Jess M went there first. (But gotta hand it to SJ, at least she's releasing it. Kick Up Your Heels not being released is a tragedy.)
Preview of the song on Sunrise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NP7_2DrF4ho
She's filming the video today.
*.*
We will get a second song called "Armour" on the physical copy of "Shake That"
Bring it on, the preview sounds good
"Shake That" is officially available to pre-order on iTunes now: http://t.co/XV9GeuXQhw
Peaked at 220 on iTunes so far.
From the preview, it sounds fantastic!
Pre-ordered!

The chorus *.*
Oh, this is quite a bop
Oh this is fab *.*
Reminds me quite a lot of Ricki-Lee's Do It Like That or Can't Touch It, the former was massive just 3 years ago so I think this has a much bigger chance of being a hit than Sweet Talk! The climate with streaming added though makes it so difficult for local acts like Samantha
Preview of the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ijs_Gn-tWM
Overdone Make-Up like the 'Up' video... Oh dear
Drag Queen realness. Hopefully it does the job but yeah
This is already on Spotify ahead of its iTunes release Great move, hopefully it builds up on streaming in Aus so that streaming doesn't let her chart position down if this sells decently.
They seem to handle this single better than Sweet Talk so far.
Now all we need is some radio airplay and some promo torack up those pre-orders and she could possibly bag herself some sort of hit again
I just discovered that Samantha is half Scottish *.* she needs to come here please. (she is also half Indian! )
They don't bother enough in Australia, let alone WW </3
Here is the Spotify link to those who haven't listened to the full version yet https://play.spotify.com/album/3CSHAzuBwbP8f3jH2VakuF
Shazam Top 20 AU @shazamtop20
SHAZAM TOP 20 FUTURE HIT
#NowPlaying
@sjademusic ft @pitbull "Shake That"
First radio play and it made it to the Shazam Top 20 Future Hit
The song was played on Nova (after we won a battle) and Shazam Top 20 (after it got the title of "Future Shazam Top 20 Hit" today.
Shake That is now #1187 (+313) on iTunes Australia (pre-orders) in less than 30 minutes.
yassss. Hopefully Airplay continues to rise!
I really hope she crosses over! She's way too good not to be an international success imo.
My CDS of Shake That arrived in the mail today. Yay!
About to listen to Armour.
Share it with us
The song? Not sure how.
Wait the singles are dispatched already?! I thought it was another week till release
The song is out in 2 days
Sorry I haven't been able to shed much light in it yet. Only heard it twice as I had a busy night and a long day of work ahead today.
She's performing "Shake That" on Dancing With The Stars this sunday! https://au.tv.yahoo.com/dancing-with-the-stars/28831144/samantha-jade-dares-you-to-shake-that-/#page1
The song is out today. Go buy it on iTunes now: http://smarturl.it/ShakeThat.IT
Currently #371 (+1129) in less than 30 minutes after its release
"Shake That" just reach #35 on iTunes Austalia and the video is at #1
The video is out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8QH3ZJjgUw
Slay me mama!
Omygod.... She has just become even sexier than I already thought she was. That is a great video!
35 in Australia and 197 in New Zealand. Her Stan Walker collab is at 63 in NZ
The fact that she's not even top 100 on Airplay doesn't bode well for this
30 in Australia.
Apparently this isn't a single from the album (neither is Sweet Talk). The launch single/album will drop in October and November.
Why is she even bothering then
That makes it 5 songs before the album and none of them are on it
Not sure, but she mentioned it on a radio interview. It's on YouTube. On kiss.fm from July 17. 4m 10secs in.
Probably too expensive to have Pitbull on the album.
She will be waiting till she gets a top 10 before dropping the album
Well it's already down to 30 in Australia. Praying the DWTS helps the song at least in the top 20
^ Already down to 30? Sweet Talk was already out of the top 40 and Shake That is actually pretty steady at #30 and has actually a good lead over the #31 and #32 so she's gonna stay there until her DWTS performance. So the song is actually doing very good
Well it was #27 or something earlier so I saw the fall and expected it to fall as fast as Sweet Talk tbh
Lol yeah i thought that too It's actually doing good. A dark green update on kworb so it should be #29 anytime soon + some of the artists above don't have a physical copies of their songs so Shake That should chart even higher and with the DWTS performance in a couple of hours now, we will probably have another top 20 hit next week
Her performance on DWTS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVH_I_GcDqg&feature=youtu.be
That was a short performance.
DWTS didn't have any effect on iTunes unlike what we were hoping for.
1. The DWTS premiere flopped in ratings. 778 000 viewers only and came 7th in ratings.
2. Samantha only performed 2mn at the very beginning which received the fewer ratings. The audience only grow during the second hour.
3. Because it was the opening number, they didn't mention that it was sammy's new single "shake that" featuring Pitbull.
So a performance that was supposed to be a big help, ended up being useless because of all these factors
Even a radio interview on KIIS FM today gave Shake That a bigger boost than DWTS.
After DWTS: Shake That #31 (-1).
After a radio interview: #27 (+5).
ugh it almost seems like someone's doing their hardest work against Sammy
This basically confirms she NEEDS to get radio on her side for any of her singles to succeed
Love the song!! I'll grab it on iTunes later to do my bit.
It's not as good as the Pitbull colab with Jess M (what is?) but it's still fab.
I know. Literally everything was against her that night. Such a shame. Most of us were hoping for a top 20 boost but it did nothing, even lost one place
She definitely needs radio on board. That's the only thing that will keep the song alive but you never know with them. They paid dust to the amazing Sweet Talk.
It's only a $1.19 on iTunes which helps a bit.
It debuted at #32 in the charts. Not as horrible as I expected
They really should just release the album, at least after the next single.... I think they're probably waiting for a hit but it just won't happen.
From David Fuller on Facebook:
ARIA Singles Chart:
Chart run: #32 (NE)
Sales: (1rst week) 5 138 (4335 digital and 803 physical).
"Sweet Talk" debuted at #38 with 4 650 copies sold.

Total: 7 499
I didn't even know physical singles sold that much weekly, good thing she has those to help boost her a tad.

Total: 9 241
This is absolutely tragic
Oh Samantha
Poor lass.
If this was by Sia and was a hit in the US it'd be a multiplatinum ARIA smash. It pains me how Aus ignores so much local talent
They should make a law to protect local musicians. Like 10-20% must be Australian or something
I think they have this in The Netherlands as well but I'm not sure
From David Fuller on Facebook:
Good because this is just too good to bomb
"Shake That" is being played more and more on radio. The song keeps on rising on iTunes too.
Currently #393 (+1 107) on iTunes Australia.
We need that x factor performance now
Could this finally become that hit it deserves to become? Glad to see radio is picking her up again
Yeah this radio support from Nova is really surprising since they never added the song to their playlists back when Shake That was released. So really happy they finally decided to support her. We just need some tv promo again (with Pitbull if possible) and the song could have a second life
"Shake That" is #65 on Shazam.
What kind of resurrection
Is she gonna do X Factor is the real question?
Not confirmed yet but it's very likely
Fingers crossed! This deserves to smash
She's performing on X Factor next tuesday!
X Factor usually does give a fairly significant boost (like Jessica Mauboy from #76 to #8, something like that, although she had good physical sales too) but I doubt with how low it is now coming from nowhere it'll repeak, if it does it will be just inside the top 30. Then again for a lot of viewers it will be a new song so maybe she can nab a low top 20 which would be amazing for her.
I'm in the other camp. I think it might just scrape the top 50 if she performs it.
I think most of her fans watch The X Factor and will already have it.
I hope I'm wrong though.
I think X Factor will have a lot of casual buyers though, like Jessica Mauboy scraped a #41 at first off her fanbase then vaulted back up a couple of weeks after with X Factor. If the song connects with a good performance, she could get around top 40 again. But if it doesn't repeak (which is unlikely I admit) it'll be a pointless re-release really, but oh well we're all used to disappointments from Sammy by now
I am really confused if we are still getting an album this year or not.
From David Fuller on Facebook:
That's great promo if we add her performance the day after

"Shake That" is #45 (+41) on radio airplay this week.
Highest increase and highest peak
This article says she is performing Always?!
http://thisisthelatest.com/2015/11/vance-joy-samantha-jade-marlisa-for-the-x-factor-australia-on-tuesday-10-november-2015/
Must be wrong, they've cancelled Always Although knowing how much they like to cock things up she'll still just sing it anyway :')
Looks like an album signing
Video of her coaching the top 5 finalists on X Factor: http://www.wat.tv/video/09-11-15-every-moments-of-7odhv_73wlr_.html
Before her X Factor performance:
Shake That is #268 (+132) on iTunes Australia.
Before her X Factor performance:
Shake That is #249 (+19) on iTunes Australia.
WYDTM: #1240 (+260)
Hopefully this can climb back into the top 40.
After her X Factor performance:
Shake That is #40 (+209) on iTunes Australia.
What You Want: #210 (NE)
WYDTM: #1024 (+216)
Hopefully this will repeak. I think it's too little too late unfortunately.
iTunes Australia:
Shake That: #25 (+15)*new peak*
What You Want: #107 (+103)
Her x factor performance: https://youtu.be/D2LYlO1ndbI
She slayed me so hard. Her vocals were some of her best! Also up to 21 on iTunes and it's discounted so that should help a little as well
^ Yes + Her performance hasn't aired yet in West Australia so i expect another big rise.
iTunes Australia:
Shake That: #21 (+4)*new peak*
What You Want: #90 (+17)
iTunes Australia:
Shake That: #19 (+2)
What You Want: #69 (+21)
YES! Keep climbing, slay gurl!
iTunes Australia:
Shake That: #19 (=)
What You Want: #57 (+12)
According to Kworb, Shake That may rise to #17 soon
I don't mean to dampen the mood but with the sales week being Friday-Thursday it's highly unlikely thus will enter the Top 50 this week. It'll need to maintain sales over the next week to reach a new peak on the ARIA Charts.
Jessica Mauboy went top 10 (#8) with her latest single after her x factor performance even if the song was out of the top 50 on iTunes most of its week.
Her X Factor performance was really good!
Shake That re-enters the chart at #69.
