i do actually think it will happen after mel b and emma have had their babies, emma said in an interview last week they all want it too, even mel c. it was gonna happen for live 8 but mel b had a contract doing something so it couldnt. lets face it, i dont think they would say no to millions and being in the public eye all over the world!

Mel C is preventing Spice Girls reunion
DigitalSpy.com Friday, February 23 2007, 16:21 GMT Melanie Chisholm is the sole stumbling block to a Spice Girls reunion, the group's former manager Simon Fuller has revealed. The pop impresario has enlisted the help of former band members Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell to persuade Chisholm to join the proposed reunion, which would comprise a six-month world tour. He told The Daily Mail: "The only person showing any reluctance is Mel C. She thinks her solo career is bigger than the band, which is just not the case. "She needs to wise up and realise a reunion would be amazing for everybody concerned. Emma and Geri are meeting her soon to discuss everything and convince her to finally sign a deal. "The Spice Girls will come back with a big bang, they’ll do a whirlwind tour for six months and they’ll be gone again." The Spice Girls were one of the most successful girl groups of all time, selling 53 million albums and scoring nine number one hits including 'Wannabe' and '2 Become 1'. Any Comments? |

Ugh it's always her. It's not often I agree with Fuller, but as he says, she thinks her solo career is bigger than the group, sorry to burst her bubble but judging by the 30k her last album sold here, nobody cares. Everyone wants a Spice reunion, give the people what they want Mel instead of trying to be a rocker, which you'll never be.

She's a lot bigger in Europe than in the UK, that's why she's reluctant to do this. |

I can see where she's coming from tbh. The others are having no success whatsoever anywhere in Europe, yet Melanie C is having huge success on the continent - if not in the UK. I see no reason why she should give that up. And the Spice Girls without her would flop majorly, she has the strongest voice by a country mile.

In my opinion Mel C is the only (former) Spice Girl who has anything left resembling a successful solo music career:
Mel C - First Day Of My Life 2005/6 sold over 950,000 and topped the charts in several (11) European countries - including Spain, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland and Portugal. |
