Craig's 8th studio album (and first for BMG) is coming out May next year. More details to follow tomorrow I guess as he said on his Instagram Live with MNEK tonight that he's making an announcement at 10am tomorrow.

Why's it called 22? I hate numeric album titles that don't seem to mean anything?

Craig’s said it’s because he released ‘Born to Do It’ 22 years ago

He released a song called '16' in 2016 as well.

Interesting how in 2021 you have artists benefitting from surprise releases and others benefitting from announcing an album 7 months in advance.

Album has been pushed back to 30th September owing to production delays with the vinyl.

Just leave the release date alone. I’m sick of albums being pushed back

It's probably not as simple as that though. Some other acts can stagger the release of CD and vinyl but with Craig I would imagine it's slightly more important that they're concurrent.

Seriously question: does it actually sample it, or just sound similar to a lot of other songs that follow a similar template?

The Show Me Love sample is very subtle in this and for sure I wouldn't have even picked up on it had I not read this thread before listening,
