Hi y'all, we are gathered here today to mourn the loss of what was once a contest with filled with hope and joy...welcome to HEAT TWO of Buzzfest 2017.

We have 7 songs are vastly differing quality for you to judge this week, they are:

01 - Mariette - A Million Years



Returning 2 years after coming third to Mans and his cgi friend and Jon Henrik and his tits, Mariette went as far as to have a wash and rock up to Melfest with a current sounding POP BOP. Sweden sent it straight to the final, with Buzzjack do the same?

02 - Roger Pontare - Himmel Och Hav



Think Jabba the Hut doing karaoke dressed in a wizards costume and you're got the visual Roger treated us to. Sweden didn't quite take to this Middle Earth sounding number, but Buzzjack seemed a lot warmer to it on the night, will that be enough to see it progress? Probably.

03 - Etzia - Up



Etzia managed what so many have done before, she rocked up with an above average pop song and ruined it with the combined vocal range of a shrew with laryngitis and all the stage presence of water vapour. But when has Buzzjack ever let a little thing like nocals and a personality that makes polystyrene look like the next Gaga get in the way?

04 - Allyawan - Vart Har Du Vart



Bringing this tuneless heap of shit to a song contest is like bringing a daffodil to a gun fight. He was rightfully rewarded with last place on the night, will we follow suit? I can ONLY HOPE

05 - Dismissed - Hearts Align



A bunch of queens singing pop rock? Certainly nothing new to the Melfest stage, how could it be with that songwriting team behind it, but one of the more surprising numbers of the night this minced its way all the way to AC, will it be so lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky again?

06 - Lisa Ajax - I Don't Give A



Lisa provided one of the few truly great pop efforts of MF16 with her glorious 'My Heart Wants Me Dead', yes the only thing dead about it all was her behind the eyes but dammit that hook was killer. So in 2017 she wanted to prove what a mature adult she was by letting us all know just how little she cares about what we all think. She even went so far as to SWEAR. What a rebel. She was rewarded with AC on the night before once again making it to the final. Will her course be smoother here?

07 - Benjamin Ingrosso - Good Lovin'



Son of satan's close personal friend Pernilla Wahlgren, Benjamin entered the contest as one of the hot favourites. Sadly when people saw his unfortunate chin they realised he was actually only a pity f***. The song is basic, cloying and dated but somehow sailed into the final coming second in the heat. I know some members here like this sort of thing, but then some members here also voted to leave the EU so we're a flawed community.
