Lea Michele ‏ @msleamichele
Starting a new episode today. A very special tribute to one of the worlds most amazing singers. Very excited about this one..

Singing a really great version of one of my favorite songs today with @MsAmberPRiley @NayaRivera and @chriscolfer

I think this is Episode 17 that they're filming, which means it comes right after Saturday Night Fever. If they insist on still doing tributes I wish they were a bit more spaced out.

I wondering who on earth it could be... I thought of Whitney but they wouldn't have written the episode, cleared the songs etc. so relatively soon after her death would they? Perhaps Barbra Streisand, although if that was true then I'm sure would've hyperventilated a bit more on Twitter, iirc Barbra is one of her fave singers as well as her being Rachel's idol.

Tribute makes it seem like they're no longer with us, so unfortunately, a Whitney episode seems like it's approaching us sad.gif The Madonna episode was so original/fantastic, now they just seem like they're trying to cram as many songs in as possible to make episodes featuring 1 artist's back catalogue.

I wish more episodes was like the 'Rumors' episode. That is definitely my favourite "tribute" episode. All the songs used were by Fleetwood Mac and dedicated to them. However, it somehow managed to be so well done, develop stories and it managed not to feel like a tribute episode. It also introduced the younger generation to an album, which they probably never would have bothered listening to out of choice.

It IS a Whitney tribute I've read, there will be 8 songs and the episode will centre around the bad feelings they all have about graduation.

Alex Newell (the forth Glee Project winner) will appear as a member of Vocal Adrenaline, alongside new coach Jessie St. James (Jonathan Groff).

I appreciate that the producers enjoyed him first time around, but it's really just showing that he's not gone very far in life, surely? Which is what series three is about...

I bet it's Because Of You. That's my favourite song of all-time, she had better do it justice...

Well she has already done "My Life Would Suck without You"...

I'm not sure whether I'd like to hear a cover of "Because of You" - it's pretty iconic as far as pop/rock ballads go, and Lea and Kelly have completely different styles, so it may just sound a bit like karaoke.

Why do I get the feeling it's something less obvious, like 'Beautiful Disaster' (the piano led version)? Or at least I hope so!

BUT OH MY GOD. 'SOBER'?! Her singing it to Quinn whilst Quinn's at deaths door/at her funeral (if she has indeed died!)?! I'm sad/about to be in tears just thinking about it! LOL. Glad it's Lea getting the Kelly song and none of the others.

EDIT: Listening to 'Sober' again, and I don't want it to be anything else other than this! laugh.gif

It's after Idol too so it should see a nice ratings boost. biggrin.gif

To fit in all episodes it looks like we'll be getting a double bill on May 15th too.

Apparently the Kelly song that Lea is doing is 'Cry'? Good luck Lea.

Whoopi Goldberg will be part of three episodes later on in the season playing someone who works for NYADA. Lindsay Lohan could also be coming on board to play herself as a guest judge at nationals.

Also for anyone interested;

The "Glee" cast sat down with James Lipton for an episode of "Inside the Actors Studio" way back in December of 2011, and now we'll finally be able to see the results. According to a tweet from writer/director Jeff Wurtz that was dug up by Hypable, the Gleeky installment will air April 9 at 8 p.m. on Bravo.

"Just finished editing an episode of Inside the Actors Studio with the cast of Glee. The show will air April 9 th on Bravo TV at 8pm," Wurtz writes.

According to audience accounts from the taping, cast members Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch were there alongside creator Ryan Murphy, and discussed their backgrounds before getting on the show, the audition process, being bullied and other interesting tidbits.

Going to have to try and find that online after and check it out.

'What Makes You Beautiful' is getting the Glee treatment as I expected it would soon. Could have potentially been the best thing ever but then it was revealed that WILL is going to sing it. :/ I would literally have preferred anyone else.

Not too sure where to put this, but this promotional picture has lead people to believe Brittany won't be graduating:

Was she realistically ever going to...?

EDIT: Okay - so let me get this straight, the following characters are of the following ages:

10th Grade [15-16] - Rory
11th Grade [16-17] - Artie, Blaine, Tina
12th Grade [17-18] - Rachel, Mike, Quinn, Finn, Kurt, Mercedes, Santana, Brittany, Puck

And we don't know Sugar's age - and with Rory unlikely to stay for next season, then there's going to be at least eight new characters joining the glee club then?!
