Hello Hammer
All My Friends is decent and any public awareness for Tinashe is welcome from me. I did prefer Days with You in terms of Snakehips though because it was pure summer. Don't is really smooth, not heard of him before this single but a nice bit of R&B, hope it keeps climbing in the US. Love the new remix of Light It Up, bonkers production and incredibly catchy too, hope something else clicks with the public from this album because Lean On isn't the only good thing. On a side note, it's not on here but what do you think of Dej Loaf's Back Up, I think it's pretty good and I liked Try Me too so she seems promising. |

A List Craig David feat. Big Narstie - When The Bassline Drops great that he's back making music, his old famous stuff doesn't sound at all dated to me! Frisco feat. Shakka - Different Kind interesting song this, you're right Shakka is due a big breakthrough Shift K3Y feat. BB Diamond - Gone Missing Stormzy - Shut Up Ty Dolla Sign feat. Wiz Khalifa, The Weeknd & DJ Mustard - Or Nah (Remix) Wretch 32 feat. Anne-Marie & PRGRSHN - Alright With Me I'm getting into this a bit more now WSTRN - In2 B List 99 Souls feat. Destiny's Child & Brandy - The Girl Is Mine good use of samples, I'm happy this made the top 40 after all Bonkaz - You Don't Know Drake - Right Hand Jeremih - Oui Major Lazer feat. Fuse ODG & Nyla - Light It Up I did expect something better given the names involved but not bad by any means Omarion feat. Rich Home Quan - I'm Sayin' The Weeknd - In The Night C List Chip feat. JME & Lethal Bizzle - My Bruddaz (Remix) Chris Brown - Back To Sleep he's sure been pumping out the tracks this year, this is another good effort Future feat. Drake - Where Ya At? Sigma feat. Hey mate, here are my faves this month
A List Craig David feat. Big Narstie - When The Bassline Drops Shame this didn't manage Top 40, it would have been good to see him in the charts again! Protoje feat. Chronixx - Who Knows Snakehips feat. Tinashe & Chance The Rapper - All My Friends Such an infectious chorus. Hope this does well, at least Radio 1 are on board with it. Wretch 32 feat. Anne-Marie & PRGRSHN - Alright With Me WSTRN - In2 B List 99 Souls feat. Destiny's Child & Brandy - The Girl Is Mine I'm still not completely sold on this but I don't mind it I guess. Major Lazer feat. Fuse ODG & Nyla - Light It Up This is a bit disappointing compared to the last two singles (despite the fact that it's got Fuuuuuse on it!) The Weeknd - In The Night Really enjoying this at the moment, it's like Michael Jackson's come back to life C List Sigma feat. Rita Ora - Coming Home 'Gimme The Light' is definitely my favourite of the old skool trio, although if I had to pick a favourite Sean Paul song, it would be 'Like Glue' Nice! |

Low is a classic Would really love the DJ Fresh and Shift K3Y songs to hit big next year (even if only How Love Begins has a realistic chance). Snakehips will also do well I think, along with 99 Souls and Craig David. Thanks for the comment Adam A List Craig David feat. Hello Hammer All My Friends is decent and any public awareness for Tinashe is welcome from me. I did prefer Days with You in terms of Snakehips though because it was pure summer. On a side note, it's not on here but what do you think of Dej Loaf's Back Up, I think it's pretty good and I liked Try Me too so she seems promising. Hi Josh! My favourite Snakehips song is Forever Part II, so rich and feel-good. Days With You is very summery also. Bryson Tiller has started to really hit big in America, with Don't entering their top 20. He's like a fusion of Drake, Jeremih and The Weeknd to me, I'd recommend 'Exchange' as that's an excellent song. Major Lazer have also got a song out now called 'Boom' which I think could do well. Shame Light It Up isn't quite clicking as I love Fuse ODG. Lean On will realistically overshadow everything else they do though. As for that Dej Loaf song, I heard it a few months back and the beat is madness!! I've seen some people describe her as having a little boy's voice but that's harsh I think. I love her chorus on 'Be Real' and that's the favourite thing I've heard from her. Thanks for the comment mate! |

Hi ML Hammer, A List Craig David feat. Big Narstie - When The Bassline Drops DJ Fresh & High Contrast & Dizzee Rascal - How Love Begins What a tune Miguel feat. Chris Brown & Future - Simple Things (Remix) Protoje feat. Chronixx - Who Knows Shift K3Y feat. BB Diamond - Gone Missing Snakehips feat. Tinashe & Chance The Rapper - All My Friends Stormzy - Shut Up Ty Dolla Sign feat. Wiz Khalifa, The Weeknd & DJ Mustard - Or Nah (Remix) Wretch 32 feat. Rich Home Quan - I'm Sayin' The Weeknd - In The Night The Weeknd - Tell Your Friends C List C4 feat. JME - Go Back Future feat. Drake - Where Ya At? Post Malone - White Iverson Sigma feat. Rita Ora - Coming Home Tazer - Vibrate Need to hear this Old School Trio Flo Rida feat. T-Pain - Low CLASSIC N Sync feat. Nelly - Girlfriend Tune Sean Paul - Gimme The Light I remember this well Plenty of love again Harry! The Tazer song samples the club smash 'Gas Pedal' from Sage The Gemini. I don't think it's as strong as that, or indeed Wet Dollars, but still a good listen. I definitely agree about the DJ Fresh song though, already has a timeless feel to it like records such as 'Count On Me' and 'Won't Look Back' had. Thanks for commenting consistently! Alright man! A List Craig David feat. Big Narstie - When The Bassline Drops great that he's back making music, his old famous stuff doesn't sound at all dated to me! Frisco feat. Nelly - Girlfriend Sean Paul - Gimme The Light ahhh yes vintage Sean Paul, I find this goes under the radar a bit compared to his more well known tracks Good picks once again! Hey Dobbo mate! The Craig David and DJ Fresh songs keep growing on me, but Wretch's isn't really. Probably because he's done much better and it almost feels like he's stick to the 2011 formula of getting a hit (his most successful year tbf). Still like it though. Can't get enough of the Frisco/Shakka record right now. Different and fresh, reminds me a lot of 'Rebel' by Ghetts - another great grime track with guitars and rock influences. Nothing is going to touch 'Rudeboy' in my eyes, a perfect hype D&B record that hasn't been diluted and sounds fresh now! Thanks for commenting. Hey mate, here are my faves this month A List Craig David feat. Big Narstie - When The Bassline Drops Shame this didn't manage Top 40, it would have been good to see him in the charts again! Rita Ora - Coming Home 'Gimme The Light' is definitely my favourite of the old skool trio, although if I had to pick a favourite Sean Paul song, it would be 'Like Glue' Nice! So hard to pick a favourite Sean Paul song, I love so many!! Probably Get Busy or Breathe but that's open to change. Craig David will make the top 40 in the New Year now it seems. Deserves to, as its fantastic. Thanks again for the comment! Nice to see some good songs here like "In The Night", "Where Ya At?", "Tell Your Friends" and "Low" being here. Keep checking out the monthly playlist updates mate, there's more 'tunes' where they came from. I try and keep on top of the new music releases from my favourite genres so each list should be fresh! |
