I didn't enjoy the season opener quite as much as I normally enjoy the show, but it's been back on form for me since.
A little wary of the state's attorney thing though.. |

It really was such a great episode. It's refreshing to have one every so often where they aren't in court on a case and the focus is shifted elsewhere.

She's burning a lot of people, personal and professionally now. It's definitely not going to be a smooth road between now and the season finale (with the campaign being 8 months I'm kind of assuming it will run until the season finale). I did like how the episode kept referring to 'Saint' Alicia, yet every action, conversation and thought showed that actually she is anything BUT. It's refreshing to see a show unafraid to paint the lead character as a moral grey area, although as we know with Alicia morals matter not, unless you betray her/break her trust.

I love Kalinda, even though her story hasn't been that good, Archie Panjabi is excellent. A great way to go would be to get her killed by Bishop, but I wish they'd kept it secret like with Will last year. |

Well at least she's staying on until the end of the season, the show can't have more than 13-15 episodes left after that. Also wish her all the best with the pilot she'll be headlining.
Would've been gutted for her to leave sooner. I'd say Kalinda has been my overall favourite character on a show with many amazing characters. |

I can't say I will feel her loss too acutely, yes she is amazing and been at the centre of so much of the important movements on the show, BUT she has been sorely underused for 2/3 seasons now and really, there's very little else they can do with her.

LIVING for Diane in her various scenes this week. I really hope Christine can bag herself an Emmy at some point because she bats it out of the park every single episode. She just inhabits the role like a glove.
I did find the episode to be a bit of a mixed bag though, Elsbeth was the least good I've ever seen her, loved seeing inside her crazy mind, but it felt a little jarring mid episode and the whole Josh Perotti thing was ridiculous and just felt like a case of bringing back a beloved former character for a bit of excitement. I thought she was imagining him until he spoke in court, that would have made a lot more sense I think, or at least have been more sensible from the point of view of me as a viewer, anyway. Nice to see Alicia and Peter get the hate out again, and the pic, well, that says everything about why the show is so amazing. |

Call Me Maybe <3.
Love that they took a break from all the States Attorney stuff. Also, moving back into the LG office was a killer move. |

Another slightly muddled episode, narratively speaking, but bloody hell did it hit the mark comedy wise.
That sex scene reduced me to tears, it was so ridiculous and disturbing, but also brilliant. As was ''So...call me.......maybe'' and Howard and his ''My presence and I shall be our in my office if you need me'' *.* ENOUGH with trying to make Grace Florrick happen though. Nobody gives a f*** and certainly not when she's trying to bring G-O-D into it all the bloody time. GET A NEW HOBBY LOVE. |
